Fall River licensing board it is Wednesday November 29th 2023 at 5:00 p.m. I'd like to open up with the open meeting law pursuant to the open meeting law any person may make an audio or video recording of this public meeting or may transmit the meeting through any media attendees are therefore advised that such recordings or Transmissions are being made whether perceived or unperceived by those present and are

deemed acknowledged and permissible the city Charter section 918 mandates that all multiple member bodies develop and adopt rules or policy for public comment we have adopted such a policy which in short provides for citizen input on licensing board specific matters at the beginning of the meeting there is a signup sheet that is located at the back of the room so welcome my name is Melanie

cadiro and I am a commissioner on the board taking over today for chairman McCoy on that note I wanted to read the following please be advised there are only two members present this evening from our three member board if you choose to go forward this evening it must be a unanimous decision if you choose so you may table your matter to the next scheduled licensing board meeting on December 20th

a shower or something like that do they have to be open on Sundays though you're supposed to adhere to your license yeah that's the problem oh that's the problem yeah so if we have it we should be open that not just for specific events well we don't want to do that right so car if they didn't pick Sunday could they come for a one day permit no not a one day permit because they have a

license they have a license okay sorry you have to make a decision I would I would ask for the Sunday okay yeah but then we have to be open every Sunday right is that correct I know it's a tough one yes it is I just I don't well you know why don't you open and see if and see how it goes so it's better to have it what type

of process would it be to amend it if we want then to add the Sunday that just come down to a meeting no the you would yes basically you pay to go in front of the board $50 um if you're a cooperation I forgot yes you would just have a a quick meeting stating that every the corporation agreed to the change of hours or the extension if you would okay
