my name is Thomas Corey present with me via Zoom is Michael Kaufman Dr Stephen gagliotti and Tess Curran our agent for the board various guests and participants in today's meeting pursuant to the open meeting or any person may make an audio or video recording of this public meeting or may transmit the meeting through any medium attendees are therefore advised that such recordings or Transmissions are

being made whether perceived or unperceived by those present and are deemed acknowledged and permissible Tess can we have a roll call Thomas Corey present Michael Coughlin Stephen Gagliardi president thank you the first item of business is the approval of the meeting of the minutes of the meeting from uh February 23rd are there any additions deletions or corrections to be made to the minutes of the meeting is printed

to accept second can we have a roll call Thomas Corey yes Michael Coughlin yes Stephen Gagliardi yes okay the next item is a request for variants for the keeping of chickens Mr Manuel estabs 365 Chicago Street Mr estabs is with us Lisa you're presenting on this one from Mr estabs yes um I have all this paperwork in front of me um he had six of Butters one was undeliverable and it was sent back to us

but I didn't get any complaints there were no complaints or phone calls or anything no letters um so as far as you know the abuttersville that that's that's a good thing um everything else is here his the property I think you you I I believe you were um we got the photos yes yeah yes okay so yeah he and he drew his own map here um he's requesting that he seven chickens

and you know he has a nice property he's a lot of Garden area um it was clean um when I've checked it a couple of times and it was clean so okay you know he has everything here so we're gonna go I believe we would go with the usual thing we we will need a rodent con a rodent control contract do we have that in place I you know what that's my fault because

I don't believe I told him that okay yeah you know but I'll talk to him about that okay and the number of chickens we're going to set at seven yeah that's what he has on his uh application we're not going to have 9 or 10 or 11 for Easter to have chicks right we're going to keep it at seven yes okay thank you and Mr Estes we have to remind you no roosters at any time

they actually uh postponed it well that's been postponed yeah this morning I called I tried to get in touch with her the Board of Health has tried to get in touch with her with no response I left messages um so I called the tattoo shop and spoke to Rick Santos who owns flaming balls tattoo shop and he said I haven't heard from her either so just just postpone it I said that's a problem

is the proper thing to postpone or to table well yeah that's what I didn't I thought somebody said something about tabling it earlier I think we'll have to table it Tom okay do we need a motion to table motion the table all right let's go with the motion to table second second can we have a roll call Thomas Corey yes to table Michael Coughlin yes Stephen Gagliardi yes okay the next item is the director's

report yes what do you have for us so uh last month we had discussed um the opioid settlement funds and the um the work on the Strategic plan so that has um started um they uh the consultant just got IRB approval and is going to be reaching out to community uh members within the uh kind of the prevention harm reduction recovery and treatment sectors um to discuss what their those individuals thoughts are on on the

current status of the substance you know addiction task force and the work that we as a community are doing um so that just began um they met with the uh the consultant met with the um substance addiction task force last week um to kind of go over that process I believe actually you know that was two weeks ago it was on the 15th um and and the work will begin um you know effective this week

um for those interviews um so that process will take about six months um for them to do the interviews and conduct um you know the analysis and then work towards developing the goals and um and budgetary uh outline for us to to use as a platform to make some decisions so um so we're looking forward to that and Dr Gagliardi I'll um include you in the emails for that as well as I know you've expressed interest

um in in being a part of that um all right thanks and so really that that's just one of the main updates um We are continuing our work um with the coveted vaccine uh things are changing a bit with dph's involvement um in terms of some of the Staffing we won't have the same uh level of Staffing support from dph um moving forward but we still have support in terms of clinics and mobile

clinic opportunities that the state is providing the vaccinators for so that's not changing significantly however we are scaling back the number of clinics that we'll be having each week we have been having four clinics each week and we're still getting you know a number of First doses at most of those clinics um but we're going to be scaling that back in part because the 75 incentive

ends tomorrow and so we'll be having two clinics which were the highest attended clinics and that's the Friday clinics at Star at 10 10 South name and then the Saturday Clinic which is held at health first um and those that information continues to be updated on the FR vax website that we maintain um regarding the covert vaccinations and other General covet information okay anything else

uh just one other thing which I don't I don't like last last month um is that we have uh offered the position of the epidemiologist to an individual she has accepted um and well we're really excited about that um she um is completing her um her Masters at this point in time um so we'll officially start in person um until June um but is doing training with us virtually through up until that

time so um once she officially starts in June um we'll be able to hit the ground running with all the training um for real estate database and just other General disease investigation and um kind of getting her up to speed on the communities because again this is part of that shared service Grant so she'll be working with us and then Swansea NC conk as well very good anything for Citizens input we did receive

um citizens input it was past the date but we'll include it um from Mr Higgins regarding the extension of the uh opportunity for us to have virtual meetings um so the open meeting law uh has extended this through 2025 um so we will be able to continue um and that was the one piece of citizens input that um that was submitted very good well thank Mr Higgins for keeping us informed on these issues so

that's all he did is he sent in and noticed informing us that the extension had been granted is that yes that's all he did okay okay I guess we have to set the date for the next meeting um I remember Dr gagliadi saying he wasn't it would be easier not to have the meeting on the fourth Thursday of the month so do we want to move to the third Thursday of the month or would another

day be better so it would be the April 20th that would be the third Thursday in April um I may have a conflict um that day okay um just at that time from three to four um I could do something earlier or or later um but I have a required meeting um that day from three to four here at Government Center okay we could push it back to the 27th or

we'll do it at four four is fine for me on the 20th it's going to four o'clock no forica the uh the request came through if we could have the meetings earlier because City Hall closes at 4.

um oh if you're available for the 27th at 3 or 3 30. that's good everybody else three or three Thirty three Thirty is fine okay we usually have short short meetings yeah so we'll go with April 27th at 3 30.
