tell us what it is and this event in particular there's food served also or is just pure apple um yeah well they can purchase food so that's why I'm doing that promote our restaurant bus so there'll be food available it's not just purely a drink no it's not yeah your restaurant's okay good this is full alcohol full alcohol yep so that's Saturday July 8th 8:00 p.m. to midnight yes July 15th 8:00 p.m. to midnight and

yeah what's the 137 137 y 137 breakfast lunch and dinner 24 hours a day good to see you willing to come back to our city yeah we were here a while back I think we we'll definitely be in a good area that's very busy road there are a few people here tonight that are doing some good project awesome yeah what on here what is bar area if you don't have is that just a

bar type seting it's it's pretty much a seating we we not have alcohol no like old school single seats pretty much yeah for singles to come in and walk and just get a quick breakfast okay all right just want to make sure right um so obviously the we can't fully approve the license cuz there's nothing there it has to be inspected and just so you know the procedure is once all of the other departments have issued

their licenses we're the last one to go in yes okay and just so you know so you're not disappointed you can't call in the morning and say we're opening today it's not happening sure you got to give us at least 48 Hours okay because one of us has to be able to be there sounds um so I mean I think at this point everything's here M there's uh we have the police report it's fine they

they're fine that I think it's a good thing thank you for coming back to Fall River absolutely um I don't think there's anything else that we until it's built yeah everything would be subject everything would be subject to the inspection okay any questions when you looking to break ground if you get the approval uh it usually takes about um 3 months to start the finish so uh we're

Front Street in Fall River so corre who's representing a new Tokyo Michael Lan on behalf of the LLC um it as I explained to Carrie um the city had a little confusion about the actual address 139 is has two address one across the street from another uh it's finally straightened out with Ben in in assessing and everything it's actually at 101 but I just wanted to be clear so there's no

uh I mean the should be 101 the the location I believe is 101 and it's it this entity which you may not be aware is actually in the parking lot of Burger King although it's not part of their land there's a very small car out it was part of materials building supplies that was one of multiple buildings and it's kind of in the middle of the parking lot and part of this deal to get it approved

D is that cuz there's no parking there cuz it doesn't belong to this entity that there's a license agreement across the street for approximately 43 cars and that's attached like behind um honey d right yes exactly yes so you know better than I do there there's almost three acres in there and uh that that's the only way we were going on the entrance to britland park pretty close little

it's actually in the parking lot of the Burger King if uh there's a little side street there is that where they knock the building down yes yeah and they're rehabbing there was a building there that's being rehab which is going to be the restant you buring you only see the back side of the building right is that correct right I'm not sure I you can't tell you see the back side of the

building when you pull into the bird king poon well when you pull no actually you'll see the the front door it's all glass now yeah cuz it's it's only recently that it it's getting closer yeah I guess we just want to make sure the address is correct when we got to make sure on that that's the thing we got to get some confirmation on that because if it goes and it comes back with the wrong

address I can check with Ben again I that's cuz I noticed that because originally no one knew what the address was because I'm just seeing here that the application has 139 Front Street so if it should be 101 we got to get that corrected before it goes up it goes to Boston okay all right so let me ask you this for practical purposes they're just starting to do this renovation I would

assume yeah I'd say there's about 3 months left all right so I mean if it doesn't get res ites if it does if the license doesn't go out in the next couple weeks it's not a big deal until we get this trade because we're going to need something once you get it confirmed that that's the address we're going to need something sent to us to say please amend the documents so that when it goes

to Boston there going to be a yeah cuz I got as part of your procedure I went to assessing engineering and then assessing and from the map plan to get the ab Butters and and from that I believe it's it's it's 101 but I'll straighten out we'll get it straight now all right so anyway tell us what you're looking to do what kind of what kind of establishment hours the basically they're looking for

a a a full service Japanese steakhouse restaurant with all alcohol they're looking for hours of Monday through Thursday of 11: to 10:30 Friday and Saturday 11: to 2 and Sunday back to 11: to 10:30 okay and do you does the applicant own the land own the building or is it a lease it it's there's a lease it's um but it is a family member that owns the land that owns the land across the street and

everything all right how many um people do you think will be employed by this establishment if I may help uh sorry part of the family can you please come down and they apologize they got stuck in traffic in Boston they thought they were going to be back yeah I'll just stand in uh they'll probably be around 25 to 30 people and um who is the proposed manager this young lady right here hi and what's your

correct I can give this copy to Carrie we didn't have this before you can bring it up with P little makes sense is this Tokyo have any affiliation with the other Tokyo restaurants that are out there um I think do isn't there no that's a that's a separate person okay that's a big building What's Your Capacity there SE do you know I believe it's about 132 on that and then we're saying about 180

that would be everything together the Habachi tables the bar and uh the dining the din yeah are you involved in this one me no I I help out a lot just running out and went not for there so well he's helping goto guy well he's well well he's related and he's he's going to architect he's going to Wentworth so he's helping out to get his feet wet on that side of it all right

Commissioners thank you Mr asash for your help heavy hit us at the end old business business picture show to LLC good evening Mr chairman members of the board Madame clerk for the record my name is Arthur Frank I'm a lawyer with offices of 209 Bedford Street for Massachusetts and I represent Picture Show Entertainment you may recall I was here last month and the board tabled the request for the um alcoholic license

because you needed some more information I've given the chairman um some documents and with copies to the other members of the board uh what we've done is we've set forth um their service of alcohol procedures and U their alcohol policy from what um the um representative told me uh first off everybody is going to be trained uh in accordance with not only their responsible service of alcohol

policy but they'll obviously be tip certified they make checks um constantly throughout the theater during the Run of the movies they also use security cameras uh stationed in the theaters so they can watch to see if there's any if anybody has a problem whether it's somebody who's ill or perhaps there's somebody who's drinking that shouldn't be drinking uh and monitors all suspicious Behavior Uh then couple of

things that I thought were I think were rather um important uh unlike some bars that may use uh large cups or they serve cheaper drinks they they serve more expensive drinks and they use smaller cups because they they they're they their main thing is to get people into the theater have a nice experience watch a movie it's not to run a happy hour that's not what they're in the business

for and obviously they don't run any intermissions during screenings so their uh experience has been they don't get people running back and forth from the bar for a drink because then you've you you you missed the movie um they are very very astute about uh escorting uh people out of the theater who engage in appropriate activity um you're not even allowed near the bar or the lounge area

without first purchasing your ticket uh there is no weight staff in the theaters so again uh the experience is to be buy a hot dog buy a beer go into the theater enjoy the movie and then go home and they also don't like people lingering in the lounge you you're not there to drink you're there to enjoy the experience of watching one of their movies so if you have any questions uh I'll try to answer

them but I think I think these were some of the things that that the board was concerned about so I mean you're saying there how do they know people have to buy a ticket so once they buy the ticket and they go into the theater and buy their food and then proceed up if you remember the floor plan Mr chair but how do they know that they've bought the ticket and what if

they come out again how do they know people aren't just walking in from the outside to have a drink so you can't get you can't get access to correct me if I'm wrong Mr Frank you can't get access to the bar until youve purchased ticket and got through a certain area the very first the the very first kiosk is the ticket kiosk right so it's not as if you can just walk by the ticket kiosk okay

and and approach in so once you're in you're in per set okay is there any limit on drinks I mean um I I had asked them you know are they going to sell one drink to one person at one time if I mean obviously that would be a reasonable limitation if that's something that you or the Corporation Council wanted to see or if you were there with your wife and they see that

you're there as a couple you know one person can purchase two drinks but but I mean say your wife likes the movie and you you're not about go out there and palm down drinks it does seem like especially when you're at stadiums it does seem like a two drink minimum and I can see where the Chairman's coming from you're not going to make two people Miss 7 minutes right you know maybe just once

or maybe a two drink minimum if that's something they can look into right or or perhaps maybe we can do a minimum on a trial basis um we were there um there was a public it was posted we did a site visit and Eric and I went on Saturday and I mean it's a huge building and at now we really you really can't tell anything by what's there it's kind of

hard to visualize it um but it's big it's a big area that's one of our concerns is it's a big area to monitor um these procedures and um policies attorney Frank did give give me tonight and I gave each member of the board a copy I'm going to suggest probably that we're going to need to look at this and now that this has been submitted to we're going to submit it to the

corporation councel okay to make sure that he he's okay if he has any questions and the police yeah he can contact me the police have already approved the person looking for a license as a matter of fact I have M Williams's typed sealed Cory request form okay so um you know I think you're moving in the right direction and this is a big help to us we have some time too yeah we yeah

anything you have to replace that whole parking yeah um so all right so I think I would I would suggest this be sent to the police and the corporation counil for their review and comment we need to review it you know so we do but I I I definitely think attorney Frank has had moved them in the right direction in what we told him the last time attorney Frank if there's two other things if you

could look into or talk to them about and it's only from the experience I've gone to a couple others that are served in alcohol is in each theater is there a certain percentage so in this case would the left side be only where they serve alcohol consume or not which I I think we took that up last time I I thought they had told us that you can sit anywhere anywhere okay yeah it's just an

open seating and you if you want to sit on the front row if you want to sit in the actually got a phone call about that at my office from I'll clarify that for you because they said they had been to a place where you could only sit in certain rows is and I think and I think places may be like a designated area in each data where you can have alcohol identify

when you I'll I'll just submit that in writing to the board ask okay the other one is be idea in regards to so they we know there isn't going to be one person in each theater at all times monitoring but they're going to monitor throughout um is there um some validity to have and maybe once again in a trial basis like we discussed with the other um a bracelet on anyone who can be who

can drink and reason being if we're trying to identify the culprits per se if someone's not there all the time then it's going to be much easier for that employee to pick out at least stop somewhere in turn I think we discussed this at the last meeting it gives our police department and we can check with them if it matters or not um it gives them an opportunity to start somewhere

too so if there's a disturbance there they can walk in and stop okay You2 I see you got bracelets on we're going to make sure you're licensed almost the way we do a bar now you know we're going to make sure everyone's liced right away or I'll look into that and once again just from a perspective of going to some other facilities what just question for you on the Cory request the address is in Texas

so is this they they fly her in she she she she'll be coming here oh she's going to come to live here and what what they do is they have a team of people she's one of them they bring them in and they get the place completely set up they start to hire locally and then after they interview people they'll identify somebody who's local you're going to come back again for a manager

yeah yeah what happens is for the she becomes yeah she becomes the manager for the startup and you know for the maiden voyage then once they identify their local team then they'll ask for a change of manager yeah these people I guess they fly them all over the country and they just come in and they set it up and they and they they what they expect she knows what the company expects then they go to hire

LLC gentlemen evening chairman Ceno members of the board Miss AES I am Scott handren from uh 1939 Bay Street in Taunton representing 110 Grill um we were here at the last meeting to apply for an all alcohol uh license for a restaurant at the new har mall next yeah I was just there before I came out really cool place is it's coming nice so these in case you guys haven't seen

this s so we like I said we had the site visit um we can say we're the first first people in your restant it's a big it's a big space it's going to be interesting to see how it's developed um and I think we understand everything that you're doing one concern Eric and I had was the establishment across that the way there where you go into the theater yep allegedly there going to be another

restaurant and they're going to be looking for outside seating as well okay a concern there is I mean the safety factor I think we were fine with I I couldn't visualize it now that I've seen it I understand exactly what doing and there certainly there shouldn't be any issue with any kind of vehicle traffic that's going to be a problem what we had a concern was since you may be serving

alcohol here and there's an open space and another restaurant serving alcohol we would like to see I would like to see I can't speak for everyone I would like to see although you have that there something that's actually enclosed so if you have some kind of pillars like one the cup fix you have like brick um like columns is there any way maybe toate a a chain on the back side of

your you don't want to be able to go from your area out into that open area and go across you know do they see your friend over at the other restaurant yeah we want everyone who goes in and out of that I want everyone that goes in and out of that area to have to go back through your restaurant and out except for an emergency exit which would be a gate to get outly yes but

yeah our we we uh talked to um ownership and they said we're going to have a um they call it pillar in rod iron fence okay so be it'll be an actual structure so it'll be the same thing on both sides so you know aesthetically it's going to look nice yeah so you're both out the same so that's that's that was my only thing I was like you can just you know

someone sees someone hey how you doing they start going across the way where they drinking their hand and I think it' be hard for you people to control what's going on as well because people be skipping out on you without paying the bill we don't want you to lose any the aesthetic side of you yeah um and oh at the entrance to that area is there um another Hostess there so like

if we if I walk in and I wanted to be seated out there you have to go through the restaurant corre so there's no secondary Hostess for it's from that's from corre it's going to be in that front correct okay we did and I'm sure it's fine but we did have a a citizen there with us on Saturday who with his knowledge uh thought that the one of the entrances was a little small for

handicap sure you can look into that I'm sure it's perfect fine I can't see how he was quoting the statistic of what it had to be we did um we did assure him that we would bring it up at the meeting to the representatives um it looks great I mean from what we see I mean we once again we thank you for choosing for River there's so much going on over

there we're very excited to be here actually we actually moved up our opening date till September 19th oh good so good so we also on this if it gets approved now we'll have to do another inspection okay once it's pretty well ready to go and like I told I didn't think you were here the first one don't call us a day yeah that we're opening this afternoon we'll get there oh the other
