0:57thank you mary quick and simple uh the residents attended the massachusetts public housing conference in marlborough this past weekend they get they got some good information from ben stone at dhcd and the folks at chapa but the highlight of the meeting was david was elected the vice chairman of massarina public housing tenants that's it thank you thank you item two on the agenda is the minutes of

3:46a motion to approve second any questions um amber is here this evening that she can answer for us no questions all in favor aye aye item six is the update from the interim executive director thank you madam chairwoman a few things the follower of a housing authority has uh continued as we have in the past to support the greater fall river recreation um we made a financial two financial donations
4:27in the amount of sixty six hundred dollars and that goes to support the local uh musicians union for our senior concerts we have two series of concerts one in the spring at 11 sites and then again in the summer uh in combination with aqua goats for the elderly sites so we've been doing that for quite a few years now and continue to do it again this year so i wanted to update you on that
4:58secondly i've been meeting with some representatives from south coast hospitals and they're looking to do some wellness clinics and additional vaccine clinics at these concerts that we have they used to have a large van they got rid of that and they have two small vin minivans now a group of nurses will come and do blood pressure cholesterol and then vaccine if need be so that's a nice service that they're offering
5:37uh we started um breakfast and served joey de silva has coordinated that again at all our elderly high-rise and elderly sites the police breakfast open up dialogue with our residents any safety concerns resident concerns they can bounce it off the police department make the police department aware of anything that may be going on so they can provide a greater presence at any particular site
6:16the vehicle and vaccine policies that i provided to you last month the union is still reviewing those policies so we're hoping to have that for you next month so you can vote on there taking a little bit longer than i expected but we don't want to rush them along it has also come to the my attention and management's attention we've been having some issues at duelin apartments as you know
6:48doolin is a mixed population elderly and young or disabled and a couple of times last month the police were dispatched out there for some some incidences that were going on um so myself attorney souza uh debit management we've been addressing that and working with the four river police department for a greater presence and try to resolve some of those issues so that's ongoing but it came to our attention and we want
7:19to be proactive with that and the last thing i have is contract negotiations that's been ongoing um we're starting to hone in on on more details on and items that's what's important to the union and what's important uh to us uh as the authority so we should be narrowing down uh in the next couple of meetings and then at that point i'll have something to present present to you an executive session

14:09now the field now to approximately 17 of that 17 there were 12 that were scored i think we are going to i don't think um we we closed out that meeting at 12 noon um with the intent to reconvene and we already advertised that it'll be it will be um this upcoming tuesday no i'm sorry on a wednesday at 10 am here for the second meeting we plan on going through the
14:35aptma the rest of the applications and then um picking out some individuals of interest uh they have the the members of the committee have any interest in asking them questions we can do that and the ultimate goal is to send a finalist to the board at the next board of commissioners meeting so one finalist candidate should be presented where the board can interview that person in open session uh
