licensing board meeting to order it as 5 PM Monday September 25th if I could ask everybody to mute or place all cell phones on vibrate open meeting law states as follows pursuant to the open meeting law any person may make an audio a video recording of this public meeting all may transmit the meeting through any media attendees are therefore advised that such recordings or Transmissions are

being made with a perceived or unperceived by those present and not deemed acknowledged and permissible the city Charter section 9-18 mandates that all multiple member bodies develop and adopt rules or policies for public comment we have adopted such a policy which ensure provides for Citizens input on licensing board specific matters at the beginning of the meeting there is a sign up sheet that is located in the

back of the room with that being said I would like to advise everybody that we have two uh board members here tonight we do not have a full compliment I had a conflict last week and we had to move to tonight and unfortunately a Board member Miss cadiro could not make it here tonight I'm required by law to advise everyone that since we don't have a full compliment it would be in a unanimous

vote obviously for approval of any matters tonight um and anyone who has matters before the board tonight May request that these matters be held till we have a full complement of board members next month so with that being said item 1A public or slash citizens input would anybody like to come forward and speak their piece on any matter that's on the agenda tonight seeing no one and no one sign the list

so very simply my client has a facility of Marina docks down on the waterfront have seen his operation with a couple other facilities and his brother-in-law's facility down that way we're talking about a premier area that we're bringing more traffic and making forever known for its waterfront and its cuisine my client will have a full-time restaurant at this premises whether he's going to construct for this new

restaurant it's a themed restaurant so it'll be a little different than the other places so that my wife will still be going to 52p here but that's her favorite place especially on Wednesday nights when I'm racing and she can see me but anyway this will be an operation that will be from 12 noon to 11 p.m seven days a week those are the hours that he wants to pick because he feels

that those are the most appropriate down that area it's a great facility down in that Waterfront area there's going to be a new pier that's going to be going in down the a new part of the marina and we think this spring things for River a much needed atmosphere to really augment the Waterfront that has been growing for the last few years and will be an attraction for not just people from Fall

River but from people all around the area or as far as Boston Michael I don't know if you want to add a little more thank you for having us before you tonight uh this will be us in 16 years our fourth restaurant to build in that area this particular one is different than all the others it'll be located on a second floor with an Overlook of the Braga bridge in Mount Hope Bay and we're

looking to do something that you see in other major large cities which is a very high-end Mexican uh Cuisine which is really something different than what's offered in our entire geographical area and it's a family effort again with my wife and we're very excited about it and you can see from the layout it be relative 50 to 55 patrons and again and we're looking at 30 full-time and part-time positions

like where's it going to be exactly so uh when you come down Ferry Street you pull into the marina in the left-hand side and there's an older shed that we constructed about 20 years ago and we're going to rebuild that entire building not just with the restaurant but also some office space redo the whole siding it's right there as soon as you're driving it's right there right there on

your left hand side so it really will have a panoramic view of kind of everything in the area and changing the use from more of a warehouse style to something of a far more decorative building with a nice facade on the outside I have a question like this is the goal to have this this year round this facility will be year-round I should know but I don't is the seagull

no the seagull is uh six months closing shortly as is Pier you know they're directly Pier 52 they're directly on the water this is yeah the elements this is off the water on the second floor and and we'll have the appropriate handicap access to to uh get in I thank both of you for being so thorough um I believe this would be uh two motions um Michael okay first on the
