you got it back to him do you have a back door to go in we have a back door but that's again it's that that distance even got a garage but that's not for a car anymore that should use for storage I can't I can't use that stuff yeah so so just typically what happens on these for when we that's what the purpose of these packets are for if everyone gets

uh happen with me no I'm just explaining to you what happens with these packets on how this process works okay there's a couple of things that have to be met to meet the criteria for a handicapped spot to be placed on a public way okay there's a couple of disqualifiers one of them being if the applicant doesn't have a license right if they're if they don't drive a car then we're not going to

Grant the handicapped parking space you know what I mean um another kind of typical disqualifier it would be if you're a homeowner and you have access to a driveway and or garage I understand you said you have a garage that's typically made for storage that wouldn't be a sufficient excuse we've had them before where it was a really small garage more of a large shed where you couldn't fit the normal sized car so

that's a different type of scenario you know what I mean but typically when you're a homeowner you do have access to off street parking typically that's a especially okay now I went out I went food shopping from there I'd have to wait for somebody to come to the house I couldn't carry all that stuff to the door that's why I parked at the door the winch and now it's different when they snow

I'll put it in the driveway but I won't drive I don't drive in bad weather

based on how these usually goes you do it for one you have to do it for Mom you can't do it motion to deny there's no way in the back that you can go you pop your driveway is long you can't go by your back of your back of your back of your yacht into your property because we can't help you all right so um most residences will have their front

entrance and then on either left or right side typically if there's going to be a driveway on one side like for instance your property has a driveway on the left hand side typically there's an entrance to the property on that side as well correct is an entrance a doorway on the left side of your home Oh you mean you mean the back door right yep okay so the way they typically designed that

way it would be so as you pull into your driveway one isn't expected to walk back up to the curbside around the front of the building and into the front of the address so that's usually I mean I'm not an architecture usually when they Design Homes there's an entrance there I assume you do have a doorway on the side of your driveway correct that back Joy right that's what you're talking about the side yeah right

yeah so unfortunately okay um again this is just like I said there are pre-qualifiers and automatic disqualifiers the fact that this is a single family home and there is a driveway um we're not going to be able to Grant handcap placard on the public land in front of the residents off if I if I fall again that's all right no of course not it's actually I mean last this past September I fell on the

sidewalk not myself unconscious I wake up in the hospital they said Bob everything's all right you've got a hip transplant and you know ball joint thing you need and you fell on the sidewalk yeah was that coming from your driveway or coming from the front of your house that was coming just out of the car right so I mean if there was a handicapped spot there or not I would want to prevented that fall

is what I'm saying I don't mean to sound dis disingenuous or insincere by any means sir I completely understand um what it is you you're trying to get here you know what I mean if if it was up to anybody I was born we'd let everybody get whatever you wanted you know what I mean like I said we we are still confined to a certain qualifiers and discount fires I know I was told

that I wouldn't I know there's a law if you have a driveway you can't have the sign but there are exceptions and it says that you definitely sound like you are an exception to the rule and that's again you are absolutely well within your right to come and apply and then this board looks at it and reviews it sometimes there may be a reason we've had people who've had driveways but the

way they designed the buildings although you can put a car in there you technically can't open a door on either side of the vehicle just the way that the driveway was designed so that would be an example of of a reason why we would still do it you know what I mean even going by the back door if I'm using the driveway I'm just about as far as the front if I

was to walk from the driveway put the barrels out the barrels are there in the back near the back door how all the sun he comes down Jersey and puts them out because he don't want you to take the chance doing it sure sure have a good son it's rough again I completely understand what it is you're looking for and I'll have to apologize but at this time all I have to

do is hope and pray that I always have that parking place if I have to go out is that typically a spot that gets taken up for you or have you had good success parking there in the past is it typically busy over there will you lose that spot yeah uh I don't bet while weekends because people across the street they have a lot of compliment especially one woman she has cancer grandkids coming

all right next we have that uh Hunter Street at Hope Street request for a stop sign of vehicles speeding on Hunter Street residence Fields public safety hazard for pedestrians attempting to cross as we talked about earlier there is currently a stop sign on hope they're looking for one on Hunter as well I don't currently have the data for accidents at this intersection I table this one 10x a month so I can get

uh I'll at least pull this year's worth next request should be for the traffic department to extending no parking here to corner on Almond Street West Side at Ferry Street for an additional 80 feet there is one there currently 20 feet to the corner they want it for a hundred for the tractor trailers making that corner yeah I went on Hunter Street oh no the one unfair at the bottom

there's no documents to it which is a request from the traffic department yeah I agree with this um yeah especially in in my department even without tractor trailers that's a tough turn you have to swing out yes if they are parked even legally up to that sign it still makes for a hellacious corner correct um so yeah I think anything outside of the 20 needed to come to this board absolutely so 100 feet shouldn't

be an issue then no not at all absolutely yeah the stop sign on Hope and Hunter I make a motion to table the stop sign I hope and a second second thank you okay that'll be capable um motion to accept this 100 foot no parking here to going on almond a ferry I make a motion except set second it was just the 80.
