The Fall River Licensing Board meeting on June 26, 2026, chaired by Gregory Brilliant, addressed a variety of licensing matters. The board began by tabling three old business items for Leonard's Package Store and New Asian One, Inc. They then approved a new beer and wine license for Highland Pizza, formalizing a transfer within the family to the grandson, Alexandros Demetrius. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to approving multiple one-day liquor permits for upcoming city events, including the 4th of July celebration and food truck festivals. This prompted a lengthy discussion about whether the vendor or the city, as the event organizer, is responsible for providing police details and ensuring regulatory compliance. The board decided to seek clarification from the corporation counsel for future events but approved the permits for Primo Hospitality Solutions and Troy City Brewing. Further decisions included the approval of one-day permits for St. Michael's School's annual feast and MP Hospitality's event at the carousel. The board granted new common victualer licenses to Saboris E Aromos Cafe Bakery and Mill and Roast Coffee Company. Two applications for alteration of premises to allow outdoor service were approved for the Fall River Lodge of Elks and El Jibarito Restaurant. MP Hospitality also received approval for a new all-alcohol license for its carousel location, contingent on final fire and building inspections. A new beer and wine license was granted to The Tatty Restaurant. An application for a Class 2 auto license for AutoX Group Corp was tabled to the July 15th meeting pending a police background check and clarification on zoning for vehicle sales. The meeting concluded by systematically re-voting on and approving a list of items from a previous meeting to correct a procedural complaint, followed by the approval of minutes from three past meetings.

0:33The city charter section 9-18 mandates that all multiple member bodies develop and adopt rules or policy for public comment. We have adopted such a policy which in short provides for citizens input and license board specific matters at the beginning of each meeting. There is a signup sheet that is located at the back of the room. Anybody sign up?
0:54Okay. Um, we are going to, first of all, I'm going to entertain a motion on three matters on the old business which are going to be further tabled. Uh, I'm going to entertain a motion first of all to further table Leonard's Package Store, 131 Pleasure Street, Tin Patel.
1:11Motion made second.
1:13Second. Any questions on the motion?
1:15Hearing none. All those in favor? I. All those opposed. That matter is being tabled. Um C, New Asian One, Inc. 1355 South Main Street, John Zang. Um I'll also entertain a motion to um table that particular matter.
1:32Motion.
1:33I'll second.
1:34Uh any questions on the motion? Hearing none. All those in favor? All those opposed? I that motion, excuse me, that matter is being tabled. And again, item D, which is also New Asia 1, Inc. 1355 South Main Street, John Zang and all alcohol common vixular license. I'll make I'll entertain a motion to table that.
1:53Motion second.
1:54Uh first uh motion seconded. Any questions on the motion hear? None. All those in favor? All those opposed. We will now take item B, Highland Pizza. Um I have a a conflict on this. I've represented uh the petitioner, so Melanie Cado will u chair this particular item.
2:13You guys don't have a mic.
2:15There's one.
2:16Okay. All right. If you could state your name and address for the record.
2:19Uh John Celino Loros is at 550 Locust Street, Fall River. And with me is Alexandros um Demetrius.
2:28Uh this this is really a housekeeping matter. This business is was owned by Alex's grandparents for many many years.
2:36And his grandmother actually left the business to Alex. The license never got transferred.
2:41Okay. So that's what this is all about.
2:43It went through and Alex worked with the state because it came through a trust.
2:48It was a little bit complicated and it's finally they told him he was ready to go forward. So it's really just to put the license in Alex's name. He's been acting as the manager even while the grandmother was alive. He was the manager. So um it's nothing's going to change. It's there always everything is exactly the same. No changes to it's really the paperwork.
3:07Okay. Because I thought that they were serving beer and wine before.
3:11They have been. That was the problem.
3:13And then when the state got involved, they they allowed him to continue, but they said you need to get this filed to get it into his name. And that's what we did.
3:22Okay.
3:24Um but nothing at all is going to change.
3:27His hours are the same. The the building no changes to the building.
3:31The um and he is the manager.
3:34I'm there quite often.
3:35And he's there.
3:36Yes. I know. If you go in there, you you see him or his mother.
3:41I don't have any questions. Uh my I don't have any.
3:44All right. So, uh I'll entertain a motion.
3:48Um now, the motion is to um to change the name. That's it.
3:53No, it's it's a new light. It's actually a new license that was applied for beer and wine.
3:57A new beer and wine and point the manager.
4:00Okay. Okay. So, I'll make a motion to grant a new beer wine common Victor's license to um uh Highland Pizza.
4:08And I'll second. Um anyone opposed? All in favor? I.
4:15Motion passes.
4:16Thank you very much. Good luck.
4:17Thank you. Thank you.
4:30Okay, we're going to move on to one day permits.
4:34The first one we'll be dealing with is Forever Library Foundation, 104 North Main Street, Felicia Demaris, and it's a one-day uh permit being requested for September 27th, 2026.
4:49Anybody here for the petitioner?
4:53Okay, we'll we'll put it to the back of the agenda. See if anybody comes. Um, Primo Hospitality Solutions LLC, 600 Deval Street, four river of uh, excuse me, for a mass shannon Reposo. The dates being requested are 74, 717, 8:14, and 8:22.
5:23You please state your name and address for the record.
5:25James Primo, 146 Lynden Street.
5:30Okay. I'm not sure about the address that you gave. Um, I was just about to ask Jump.
5:36It does say event address on this.
5:38Oh, that's where the that's where the one on the 4th of July must be. Yeah.
5:40The 600 uh the ball, right? Is that the city pier? Yeah.
5:48And where are the other ones?
5:50Uh, so you have that one's going to be at the city pier. The other one's going to be the food truck events at the gates of the city.
5:57All of them?
5:59Yes.
6:01So on 717, 8:14, and 8:22, they're all at the the gates.
6:09Yes. Right. Two, three. The fourth is at the city pier. And I think there's one more. That's I'm not I'm not trying to give anybody a hard time with this, but this this is not this is not very clear. I'm not going to I mean I'm not going to make a big deal out of because we're not going to meet before those first two dates. But we got to kind of get some
6:33Was he going to put it wrong on our end?
6:36It says it says Yeah, but where are they?
6:46Because it says yearly event at the Narrows.
6:49That one's at the city. That one's at the the state city pier. That's the take me to the river room.
6:56So that's what I'm trying to say. But that says that's 8:22.
6:598:22 August 22nd. Yep.
7:04I'm confused.
7:05I'm I mean this is not very This is what we got to do about it. It's not you people. This is people are just handing these things in with not much clarity.
7:16So 74 is a one-day liquor permit for that's the fourth I know. So that's that's at the the the Thomas Norton Mhm.
7:29Yeah.
7:34Then 7:17 and 8:14 is at the gates.
7:41Yep.
7:49And then 8:22 is back at the city pier.
7:56Uh the Tom Norton.
7:58Tom Norton.
8:08All right.
8:09I'll double check on why that wasn't inputed correctly. I'm not sure. So I mean what it says time in the event type event but it says the locations are a little but type of event it says list the time and this this this is not what's the time of all these things.
8:30Um, I know the food truck events typically start right around uh 5:30, 6 o'clock and they go till sundown. And then uh this the Fourth of July one that should be on there, too. I know that's usually like a 5 to9.
8:46You have You have no times.
8:47There's no times on there at all.
8:48Just says 9:00 p.m.
8:49They're usually very efficient to you.
8:51Yeah. Yeah. No, I'm surprised that And it wasn't even me that did it. My wife put in all this. Not that I'm Not that I'm blaming her.
8:58So, I'm sorry. We'll blame it.
9:00Mr. Gad just pointed out that the time of the event it maybe ran out ran to another Oh, like jump to the next line or something.
9:07It says 5:00 pm to 9 for all of them.
9:09Yeah, that's that's about right. Yeah, I think that's the window.
9:16And these are all annual events, correct? So, obviously, yes, you you know what has to be done for all of them. Okay.
9:22Um, anybody in favor of this petition?
9:27Anybody opposed? Uh, I'll entertain a motion to grant the petition. The certificate of liability insurance is in.
9:34I'll make a motion to approve the one-day permits for Primo Hospitality Solutions for the following dates of July 4th, July 17th, August 14th, and August 22nd, 2026.
9:49I'll second that motion.
9:50Any question from the board on on that motion?
9:52I I I do have one question I was going to ask before I get to that.
9:56So, these events and this is It seems like monthly we run into similar things.
10:01Why Why isn't it the organizers of the events asking for these permits rather than the vendor?
10:09This gentleman's the vendor. He's going to sell his way.
10:11I don't know that answer. We've already sent it up to the to the corporation council.
10:16So, we're waiting on something from that because we got this gentleman in front of us. I mean, he's going to sell us stuff and he's going to, you know, is he hiring a detail? Is is he in pro uh in in charge of everything that goes on down there or is the is the organizer of the event in charge? Is the organizer event details of the sanitary part of it? I think we do need an answer
10:38on that.
10:38So Mike, I think I do have an answer for that. So like special events like the food truck and the 4th of July, everyone has had a meeting. All the head of the boards have sat down and discussed each department heads like Yeah, the chief everyone has sat down and discussed what the appropriate number what's needed and plan. So have are you familiar with that?
10:56Yeah, they forward all that information.
10:58So they've already done that.
11:00I think what Mike's asking I don't want to speak for him. We had a matter last last meeting. I'm not sure of the month now where we had Charleston Memorial was putting on the event.
11:09Yes.
11:10But they didn't apply for the license.
11:13It was their event. Yeah.
11:14They sent a vendor in here who didn't know anything about it.
11:17Yeah. And and that's a private one. So it's probably going to be more of an issue with a private one rather than a I mean this is so this is being run by the city this event the food truck thing is usually something that this is an annual one may things that is usually met here at city hall I I just we need a clarification on that going forward for you know
11:37that the uh Charlton that was completely separate from like the 4th of July the food truck event those types of things there usually are someone that sit down for the safety meetings and coordinate everything that needs to be done prior to it.
11:51Well, I think I think that's getting getting the licenses I think should be part of that.
11:55Me personally, I just think that the question becomes is is Mr. is this gentleman from Primos responsible for getting that detail? And if it's not that if that detail is not there, is he in trouble?
12:06So, the details from my understanding for like I said the Fourth of July, the food truck events, those have already been worked out with the city.
12:13I know, but is the city providing it? Is he in trouble if for some reason it's not there? The city, I believe, is providing it. It's a collaborative thing.
12:19It's not you, right?
12:20No, I know. But if they weren't there, I don't think I'd be able to sell anyway.
12:23I I couldn't I could because you get a one day license.
12:26So, but the the police would have to be on site. Yeah.
12:28I know. I'm I'm just trying to figure out moving forward how we're going to do that because if the city's going to do it, then the city's responsible and that's not him. So, if that some reason there's a there's a discrepancy or some reason something's not done correctly because we have rules and regulations. Is the city bypassing that?
12:49I don't think so. But I will be honest in saying like I said, I think it's a collaborative thing. I think they're still responsible for paying for the details, but the city is also providing that there's going to be a certain number of I don't know if that comes out of the licensing fee or anything like that. I don't I don't think I've ever directly cut a check for a detail to be honest. I
13:06mean, I pay for the licenses and the detail I believe was always provided by the city for those type of events. Mhm.
13:12So for large events like that, it's usually like the city is providing those details.
13:17Yeah. And it's also about the liability too in case there's something occurs there. You know, they're going to say, "Oh, there was no police officer there or there was no not just cops. It could be a paramedic. It could be a firefighter if it's indoors or whether and and it fell through the cracks cuz this one thought they were going to hire him. this one thought they were going to
13:33hire him and no one hired him and the event still rolls on and then there's an incident and they're going to be believe me when they give civil litigation everybody's gonna be pointing their fingers at each other saying he was supposed to hire him he was supposed to hire him and and and now we don't and then now there's a problem I don't want I I'd hate to see the vendor this not not necessarily you the
13:51Supreme Court but any vendor on the hook for something that they're not even supposed to be on the hook that's all yeah we just got to figure it out Courtney going forward you just got to get a ruling on this of some sort through corporate counsel See, see my issue is also just piggy back on what Mike said. We have rules and regulations relative to one day liquor permits what somebody has to provide.
14:13Correct.
14:14Yes.
14:14Yeah. Is the city providing the same thing or we don't know or we don't that comes out of that's out of our jurisdiction. They're doing their own thing.
14:23All right. I can just speak as far as like the fourth of July July event we met about with police department, fire department, DCM, all the directors and as well as the food truck events. Um, as far as what they're telling in the event coordinating office, I can't really speak on that. I just taken the one day permits when I received them.
14:44Okay.
14:44Okay.
14:45All right. Well, I'll probably give a call to the mayor's office myself to see just to make sure we're all on the same page, but it's not. Did we take a motion on this?
14:54A motion. You're you're vote. No, we just got I don't think we need a vote.
14:57Okay. Yeah.
14:58Um any anybody I don't know if I did this already, but if I repeat myself, I apologize. Anybody in favor of this position?
15:05Anybody opposed? Hearing none, I'll entertain a motion. Did we make it?
15:09Yeah, we did.
15:09Okay. Any questions on that motion?
15:11None.
15:12All those in favor? I All those opposed. All s.
15:15Thank you very much.
15:19Next, article C. Troy City Brewing.
15:25600 Devall Street, Keith Cavalo, 7426.
15:33This is also the city's 4th of July that they as they asked them to apply for.
15:41Yes.
15:46I'm not following this.
15:49I'm really not. Can you please state your name and address just for the record? Keith Kavalo, 250 Calvin Street.
15:56So, Mr. Kavalo, explain to me what you're going to be. Is this going to be just something in front of your establishment on 4th of July?
16:04No, sir. Uh, I'm going to be on the pier on the 4th of July, uh, serving beer for from the brewery. And then I'll also be at the gates of the city for the two food truck events.
16:16It's not on here. You only have one application.
16:19Uh, we applied for all three.
16:20Oh, I'm sorry. apologize. We have another one coming up afterwards.
16:24Okay.
16:30And what time are you going to begin?
16:32Cuz you This only says afternoon.
16:35Yeah. So, the food trucks are usually uh No, this is July 4th.
16:39Uh 4th of July is 5 to 9. That's the time the event runs. Uh we get there around 3:30 to start setting up and make sure that police details are on site and that um everything's where it needs to be.
16:52Now, when you just say police details, you're going to get your own?
16:55No, sir. I just make sure that there's at least police details there before I pour any beer in the city. I I won't pour a pint of beer unless things are followed correctly.
17:06Okay.
17:08All right. This is this isn't on these applicants if the city's telling them to do this, but I mean it may it may well be on them. We I just we should get a a ruling from corporate council. That's all. It may maybe the ruling is no, he's he's the one that's serving the liquor. He's got to get a one day permit.
17:27I get that. But that that but that means then what happens with the details and all the other rules and regulations?
17:32I would think that he'd have to hire him and pay him.
17:35He's not. I know that's it's wrenched on into this.
17:39We have documentation stated that u all the police details were going to be taken care of from the city of Fall River.
17:47Okay.
17:47That the city of Forever should be here because they're responsible.
17:53I I I they they got to coordinate that better. I will call the mayor's office because this is not the right way to do it in my humble opinion. We're not going to hold it up because obviously the Fourth of July is next Saturday and I'm not going to stop any of that or or in terms of my vote personally. I'm okay with that. But they got to coordinate this the right way
18:10as as to who's doing what. So you're just getting a permit and you're not not saying this to you and I just said it.
18:16You're not responsible to do anything else other than to get this permit and show up that day.
18:20Yes.
18:21Which is not what our normal regulations would have for a one-day permit. That's all I'm saying. So either the city should be telling us anything beyond that it's being taken care of and those regulations are being because when we're leaving when we give you this permit under normal circumstances you would be responsible for the details. If you don't get it you're in violation and the nor if you were if you were just
18:45going to an event and asking for a one-day permit which is going to be for instance when we get to St. Michael School when they have their event, we if we give them a one-day liquor permit, the city doesn't do do the details. They got to go out and get their own details.
18:58If they don't get it, they're in violation of the one-day permit. That's not going to be the case for you or Mr.
19:03Primo who just left. And the city's got to make sure they're telling us as a license board that those details are being done cuz we're not waving the detail, right? We're not waving that.
19:14No, no, no, no.
19:15So, but but again, it's not we'll do deal with that. Okay. That's not you.
19:20Um, all right. Anybody uh out there in favor of this petition? Anybody opposed?
19:26Hearing none, I'll entertain a motion to grant the one day liquor permit.
19:30I'll make a motion to approve the one-day permit for Troy City Brewering for July 4th, 2026.
19:37Second. Questions on the motion from the board? Hearing? None. All those all those in favor? I. All those opposed?
19:42Motion granted. And the secondary one now is two more dates for Troy City Brewery. Um those dates are I'm sorry, it's Troy City Brewery, 24 Pontto Delgato Boulevard, Keith Cavalo, uh 71726 and 8:1426.
20:02So this is the food trucks.
20:04Yes.
20:05Okay. And still 5 to 9.
20:08Yes.
20:09Okay.
20:12in the same situation.
20:14This is beer only.
20:16Yes.
20:16Okay.
20:22All right. It says 5 to 8:30, but we're going to round it out. 5 to 9. Okay. All right. Anybody uh anybody in favor of this petition? Anybody opposed? Hearing none, I'll entertain a motion to grant.
20:34I'll make a motion to approve the one-day permit for Troy City Brewing for July 17th and August 14th, 2026.
20:42Second questions on the motion from the board hearing none. All those in favor?
20:46All those opposed? All set, sir.
20:47Awesome. Thank you.
20:48Okay.
20:49Uh Greg, before we go on to to the next one, I'd like to say something.
20:54So, when when these city events are occurring, I believe that there there's all the tees and the eyes are being crossed because there's meetings. I know there are meetings at the there's meetings at se all the department heads fires there's police there are you actually involved in those meetings as well okay but the chief's there so I I know he's he or she is making it known and making sure that
21:17there's going to be details and I'm sure the fire chief is doing that that as well is doing that so I I don't think there's issues that way I'm more concerned with private ones because there aren't those meetings occurring you know what I mean for the most part they could be if it was like a huge private one where they brought the police department in for to consult consult with them, you know, but there's
21:37a lot of them like people St. Michaels and all these these um these um feasts that we have, they're here every year.
21:43They know what they're supposed to be doing. But if if a private entity pops up and they want to have a party or they want to have an event that is going to have a one day liquor license, stuff might get fall through the cracks. So I I would think that it would be on the people who are running the event to be coming here for the licenses. They want
22:00to hire a a a bar service. Okay. But we're going to hire you. We already have the license serving liquor. You know what I mean? That's that's what I'm concerned. I don't think there's issues with the city doing it because I think all those tees and eyes will be crossed.
22:14They could fall through the cracks, but that's what that's what I think. So, I'm more interested in the private ones.
22:18That's what I'm interested.
22:19But like the private ones like the one that we were talking about earlier that was brought to our say a lot of these one day permits don't come to me specifically. Um, and so when it was, which is kind of even worse, I made it uh I brought it to the chief's attention and they ended up meeting with um our event coordinator after our meeting.
22:39No, this was prior to I believe this was prior to the meeting. They came it came to my attention well before and they sat down with the event coordinator from the police department to determine what was the safe amount of details that was going to be necessary for that event.
22:53Okay.
22:54See, I I'm and I agree with Mike. I don't think the city's not going to have people there. I don't think Charlton Memorial didn't have people there. But when they come here and they have no idea about it, the city's not telling us they're doing it.
23:10So, how do we know? They're they're not We have regulations that anybody else has to follow. I'm I understand the city's actively involved, so they're going to do that plus more than likely, but someone's got to tell us that that's what's happening. It should come down from the mayor's office or somebody or the event coordinator to say and put in the file. All details are going to be
23:33handled by the city of Forilla. So we have it in the file. So we don't have people sitting in front of us like today. Oh no, we don't do details. We're not we have nothing to do with it. So how do we know? You know what I'm saying? Something should be done that we all know. Like when the the the poor gentleman from that one we did with Charlton came, he was the vendor. He
23:54didn't know one thing. He looked at us and said, "I don't I think every who was here with me that day. You might he didn't know anything." He really didn't.
24:03He was told to come down here.
24:05And I'm just saying I think we just got to straighten that out that they send a letter as well. Whether it comes from you guys, but I don't want to create more work. If it's the event coordinator from the city of Fall River who is in charge of putting those things together, then they should be just giving us a letter of sort saying this is all set.
24:21We we will handle the details and make sure the regulations that we have in front of us are being followed. This way we don't ever have a problem that it's in the file and someone says, "Oh, I didn't know that. I thought the city was handling it."
24:33I agree with that.
24:34Yeah, that's that's all I that's all I mean. I'm I'm sure I agree with Mike that it is being handled.
24:39Right.
24:40Um Okay. Well, let's move on to E. St.
24:42Michael's School, 189 Essex Street.
24:44Shaina Leold. Dates being requested 710 711 712.
24:51Hello. Hi. Could you please state your name and address for the record?
24:53Shaina Lubold, 571 President Avenue.
24:56Okay. Um, this is the annual feast, correct?

32:58No Sunday.
33:03All right. Have you ever been involved in a cafe coffee coffee cafe business or is this the first?
33:09This is the first one.
33:10So you're going to give it a try. Okay.
33:12Yeah.
33:12Um All right. Anybody in favor of this petition? Anybody opposed to this petition? I'll entertain a motion from the board.
33:22I'll make a motion to approve the common victular license for Milan Roast Coffee Co.
33:28Second. Questions on the motion?
33:30Hearing none. All those in favor? All those opposed?
33:34Thank you.
33:37What building is that for? Where is that?
33:39Be the old um uh uh counting house. remember counting.
33:45Oh, that's what they're going to open in that building.
33:49Wow.
33:51Uh, next on the agenda, Nepali Pizza, 1833 North Main Street, I'm God Shaker.
34:04We'll hold it to the end of the meeting.
34:07Okay. Next, we have alteration of premises.
34:12First one is Four River Log Lodge of Elks, 4500 North Main Street. John Le Point Club, all alcohol.
34:22You please state your name and address for the record. Mr. Le Point.
34:25Good afternoon. Uh John Le Point. I'm representing the Fall River Lodge of Elks at 4500 North Main Street in Fall River.
34:31Okay.
34:32Heather, has anybody done a background check on this guy?
34:41All right. So, Mr. Le Point, can you just describe a little bit about what it is? It looks like you got pictures of a a portion of the parking lot. Correct.
34:51So uh when uh COVID came uh we were instructed by the city that in order to hold some functions outside. We would have to come up with a plan to include a traffic plan, a fire safety plan, police officer would come down and inspect us.
35:06The board of health would come and inspect us and the building inspector to come. So, right off the right off the bat, four years ago, we had to purchase these cement blocks because our halls were restricted of the amount of people we could hold there and we we had more room outside to for distancing and things like that. So, we purchased five of the uh concrete blocks. There's
35:25pictures that I had uh attached to that.
35:27So, that would alleviate any cars or any traffic that would go back there. So, we developed the plan. We put it forward.
35:33We started having some outside events like concerts and uh barbecues, things of that nature. So, we've done it for the last four years, uh, every year, uh, submitted an application. Not much has changed. If anything, we've we've improved on some of the safety factors, things of that nature.
35:50Now, is this is this considered a seasonal license?
35:57At the uh, if I may, at the I believe we used to have to get it in by May 1st or first couple weeks of May and it would run into November 1st.
36:06I remember this. Well, I do remember doing it, but I I thought they were considered season licenses and at some point in time.
36:20I wasn't on the board, but I thought these seasonal license were just reoccurring licenses.
36:27That was so the outdoor permits were always handled by Glenn Hathaway in the buildings department and then I believe after co um switched over to And that's when this application process was came up with. So that's what they've been filling out for at least the past five years.
36:46Five years or so.
36:47I think at one point in time they were going to allow Boston to uh regulate everybody, but they couldn't come up with a plan in place. So Carrie told us to just go with the previous application from the year before.
36:57I don't think we considered it alteration of premises. I think we considered it a seasonal license.
37:03Right.
37:03That's why I was confused when I saw that. Well, because the only reason and I have no issues with this because you've already altered the premises years ago, right? I I just Who who monitors the occupancy?
37:18How many people can be back there?
37:19That would be the building department.
37:21Do they do that, John? Do they give you a number?
37:23They've come every year. We've set up tables. I have indicated in a diagram there of how many tables or distance and that obviously has been relaxed since co sometimes it may only be 50 people or 100 people out in the yard. It's it's quite spacious.
37:38Oh, no it is. I was just wondering.
37:40Yeah, Mr.
37:41Normally normally when you have a any type of uh liquor license, they give you an occupancy.
37:50Yeah.
37:50But you don't have one on this. We have them for the inside of the the buildings for each room. And uh Mr. Hathaway has come every year. Uh police, fire, traffic, and board of health have come and inspected the premises where we showed them the we don't put the tables out because every event the tables are put out and they're put back in the ConX trailer. We leave nothing out at night.
38:10No, no. I And I'm not questioning that.
38:12I'm just I'm only asking this because it says number of outdoor tabletops. Number will vary depending on event. I get that.
38:19Y.
38:19And then it says number of outdoor seats. number will vary. So, I was just wondering if anybody ever gave the Elks an occupancy. I mean, can you have 200 people there? Can you have 400 people there? Can you have I that's not necessary. We don't get involved.
38:36Um, on their liquor license, I know they No, their liquor license. They definitely have it.
38:41As far as the outside, I did inform the blind that they apply it again. So, he said they were all set. And I'm sure I just like I said it does say here Rat Skele has got 80 occupants, function rooms got 225, their lounge has 100, their banquet hall has 100. So when you go and you now alter this permit, which is what he's here for, where does that go? And who's going to determine that
39:07for the Would you like me to submit a paper with like the range of range of based on the table?
39:12I don't I'm not even questioning whether maybe you don't have to do it. I I maybe they you don't I'm not trying to say what it is or what it isn't, right?
39:19But I'm just saying normally you do have to have like like when you get the board of health it says number of seats. Okay.
39:27And then somebody gives you an occupancy and it's not us.
39:31That's a building, right? It's a building.
39:33Yeah. So um that's the only question I have. And again, it's more of a procedural thing.
39:37It's not about the Elks. It's not about you guys doing it. I I mean I don't have any anything to do with that. But if one day you guys have a con concert and a thousand people show up, is that going to be okay?
39:48No, it's not. That's not That's all I mean.
39:52I think the most people I've seen there was uh actually when the when the Junter race finally kicked off again, we had about 200 people.
39:58Yeah. Well, that's and that's down. I mean, I I mean, you guys have been around and I don't anticipate any issues and I and I don't have an objection to this alteration of premise.
40:08He's got a thing, but I'm also just worried he's grabbing stuff in my table.
40:11one where he's going to unplug stuff and talk take off the work for him.
40:15Um, get that off.
40:18Anybody in favor of the petition?
40:21Anybody opposed?
40:22Hearing none, I'll entertain a motion to to um grant the alteration of premises for the for lodge of Belken.
40:31Entertain a motion.
40:32I'll make a motion to approve the alteration of premises for Fall River Lodge of Belks.
40:37Second.
40:40Any questions on a motion?
40:42All those in favor?
40:44I.
40:44All those opposed? Motion carries.
40:46Okay. Thank you. Are we going to get a certificate or anything or just keep it here on file with with the uh licensing court?
40:52I'm assuming your normal liquor license now is going to be cuz he's altered it.
40:56It's going to be it's going to be corrected and and amended. That's what I'm asking.
41:01That's a conversation we had that maybe Boston would adopt this next year or something and it would just kind of renew.
41:07I I don't know, John. I'm not going to tell you that. I do know, but at one point in time, I do know that seasonal licenses after CO were just renewed.
41:16Okay?
41:17Even seasonal life because that's what really this is cuz you don't have it for the whole year, right?
41:22Normally, but right now you do, right?
41:24Carrie sent anything to the ABC including the outdoor premises because I reached out to the ABCC. I've met with Alan Ramsey about the outdoor permit application because it doesn't I just like I said technically right now technically my understanding of this is you could you could go out there in the winter time.
41:46This isn't seasonal. So, we altered the premises, but I don't think that that's what you intended when you first started this for the summertime, right?
41:56Seems to get the holes fil the the place filled up again because of the restrictions on the amount of people you have in the That's what I thought this was all about. But again, I'll it's something. You're good, John. You're good. But I'll uh I'm going to do a little research into what this is all about and you know how it all works. Okay. But you're good.
42:12All right. Thank you.
42:12All right. Have a great day. L Jabaritu Restaurant LLC, 840 Befit Street, Amanda Yennez, Sastrate uh Restaurant, All Alcohol. I am going to abstain only because I represent the the owner of the premises um which is uh Century Pave. Okay.
42:36Okay. All right. Could you state your name and address for the record?
42:39I'm 840 Street.
42:42Okay.
42:43And let's see here.
42:50This is for It says alteration of premises. So you're looking to do 11 outdoor tabletops.
42:59Uh so when I apply I put all premise, but they don't include the the front of the patio and the side.
43:06Okay.
43:07So I just want to include it. So it's we have six tables on the front and I believe five in the side.
43:19Isn't the side the parking lot though?
43:21Yeah, but it's inside the building. It's not like in the in the street. So we have a little like area when you come out the door. I think I know there's like a is there a um fence there?
43:32Yeah, we have a fence and we have the stairs and then you go to the parking lot. So everything is is closed. So nobody can go outside with And total number of outdoor seats between both areas is going to be 54.
43:45Uh 55 54. So yeah, it says 54.
43:48It's fine. We can Okay.
43:52Um
44:02four people at each table. So that makes 24.
44:07Yeah. In the front.
44:08Okay. In the side. Five. And those are tables of six for 30 which makes the 54.
44:14Mhm.
44:15Okay.
44:17Um,
44:28have you currently had had this before? This is the first time you're going to have people being able to drink outside.
44:37Uh, well, in that building, yes.
44:38In that building, they eat, but they don't take drinks outside.
44:41Okay. Um, this is a tough area to do this.
44:49It is fenced in.
44:51Yeah, we got to put a Yeah, it's right across from the Boys and Girls Club.
44:57Oh, it's the bank. The old bank there.
44:59No, no, the bank's on the other side. On the right. Oh. Oh, okay. This used to be the the um soup place.
45:05Yes.
45:13So, we're going to have labels so nobody can post can can leave with the drinks. Yeah, they cannot.
45:19That would be disastrous for Bever Street.
45:23Um see board of health.
45:32Do you have any thoughts, Mike?
45:34Well, yeah. I mean, it's it's tight. Uh, they're going to be able to go up on the on the the old loading dot, too. That's they're going to be able to drink the other seat.
45:42That's where the other seats are. Yeah.
45:44What kind of food is it?
45:45Puerto Rican restaurant.
45:46Puerto Rican restaurant. Okay. Uh, no.
45:49You know, isn't you know what? I'm willing to give everybody a try. You know what I mean? It's just going to be tight. You got to watch people. Make sure nobody Yeah. But we don't we don't want to serve like with a no crystal everything going to serve in the cup. The waitress going to be outside. So yeah like see see this wooden the fence.
46:06Is there a gate that they can leave that gate that area? Is there a gate that they can go out into Pleasant Street or is that all one continuous fence?
46:15It's all closed.
46:18Go back to the restaurant.
46:19Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine.
46:20Okay. Um and what hours?
46:24So we we going to start from I think we have before 11:00 but I going to put from 9:00 to 10:00.
46:33Is it 9 on Sundays? Is Sundays is a different hour or is it I think the Sunday we open at 12.
46:40We are 12 to 6. So all right you open till 10:00 at night.
46:45Erh, mostly Fridays and Saturdays, but we still don't I leave it like that just in case if I Okay.
46:52close lates 10 p.m.
46:56Okay. Um, I'll entertain uh a motion.
47:00Yeah. Motion to approve.
47:01Okay. I'll second. Um, anyone here opposed? Anyone here in favor? Um, I'll take a vote. Before we vote, I just just one last thing is um just be very careful when you're running this business because that is a very popular area. There's a lot of foot traffic over there and just if you can just try to keep it to a restaurant, you know, then you don't have to have people out there
47:22drinking, you know, or sitting out there drinking for long periods of time. And then now there's 20 people out there and those those tables and and they're just drinking because now that's going to turn into kind of something different than a restaurant. So just mostly when it's like outside, they going to be with food. Nobody like it go without food. Yeah, I know. You just want to drink, they can stay inside.
47:41Yes. And that's the way we we want you to do it and that's the way you probably and you're going to start off like that.
47:45Just don't let it escalate to something different. You know what I mean? So really keep an eye on because we want you to be successful and we don't want to have you back here in a year from now saying, "Hey, it's getting out of control." So just be very very careful.
47:56Be very cautious of what you do out there and I think you're going to have a successful business.
48:00Okay.
48:01Thank you. Let's take a vote. All in favor?
48:03I I You're approved. Thank you.
48:05Thank you.
48:06Good luck with you.
48:16Good job. Now, okay, now we're going to move on to new all alcohol common victual license and it's a MP hospitality company 1 central street forward carousel K pellet.
48:33Hey, please state your name and address for the record. Yep. Car pelleta 52 Jerome Street Berkeley Massachusetts.
48:39And Peter Hoy, uh 7 Vincent Street, Ton, Massachusetts.
48:44Okay.
48:45Um it's the ongoing carousel, which I know on the bottom floor you serve coffee.
48:51Yep.
48:52Ice cream for sure.
48:54Um and uh you got the book to get a bookstore and they play the piano and the whole nine yards. It's actually very nice. Um, so you now want to serve alcohol, correct?
49:06Where are you going to do that?
49:08It'll be from the cafe. So you'll be able to get a liquor in a coffee. It'll be you'll be able to get a espresso martini, glass of wine.
49:15Okay.
49:15That sort of thing.
49:16All right. So the occupancy is not changing.
49:19Nothing's changing. And it's just interior. This is not dealing with just interior up to the cage basically.
49:25So like I don't know if you've been on the back area, but there's like a caged area that's inside outside. That's where it'll detail.
49:31Gotcha. So, I walk around there um you know, several days a week. I'll do the whole boardwalk and back and I come around there and it's absolutely gorgeous. I love what you've done with it. I'm concerned with the aderondac chairs out in the front that people are going to be taking these drinks and going out there and then maybe going elsewhere and that it's going to really affect like the good thing you have going on
49:54there. Yeah.
49:55So, I understand for the 4th of July, you have that space outside roped off and you have a police officer, you know, watching people coming and going, but you're not going to have that every day.
50:03No, we're going to have to make sure that we manage heavily. And I mean, that's something we do at our other locations in Far River as well. And we have outdoor seating at those, and it's just something that has to really be watched and and something that has to be kind of trained and taught as well.
50:17So, will you increase staff because I know that at Oh, of course.
50:20Okay. You usually have one or two people there at a time. Yeah, we're at the point now where we're much busier. We staffed much heavier than we were.
50:28Okay.
50:28So now that people know it's open seven days a week and you know it's becoming more established. So So the bakery part closes at what time?
50:37The cafe is open 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
50:40every day.
50:40Will they be serving continuing to serve food while people are being served alcohol?
50:44Only food service only while alcohol is served. Yeah. There won't be a period where it's just alcohol. That's just not our brand really.
50:51Yeah. Okay. What time you open till?
50:53Till 9:00 p.m.
50:54Yeah.
50:55So, it's not late.
50:56Who's making the martins down there?
50:57What are you guys?
50:59Probably. Yeah.
51:00Yeah.
51:02So, uh it's going to be the same hours.
51:04Yeah.
51:04At this point, the same hours.
51:06I don't know what time you guys want the license. I mean, I don't know if we put that on our thing or not, but um I mean, whenever license, it doesn't say hours of operation.
51:14That's what I was about to ask you is not on the application. starts at 7:00 a.m. We don't need to serve alcohol at 7:00 a.m. So, if you guys want to you tell us a recommended start time, I mean, I think 11:30 is like the city's standard. That's fine with us.
51:26Any any comments on that, Courtney? I I don't have a problem with 11.
51:30Go with 11.
51:3211. Cut the difference because what's what's Sundays, though?
51:36Sundays are the earliest can be 9.
51:38Oh, is it? Okay.
51:39So, 9 on Sundays, 11 the rest of the week.
51:42Sounds reasonable. Yeah, but he only I mean he doesn't you're not going to stay up until 1:00 a.m. No, it's not. So, we'll give him till 11 a.m.
51:50till 900 p.m.
51:53Is that 7 days a week?
51:547 days a week.
51:55Yeah.
51:57Done a good job.
51:57I'll be quite honest you. You should go with nine on Sundays cuz you never know if you want to do a brunch or something down there. I think that's fine cuz why why mess yourself up? Just if it's nine Sundays, let them do nine on Sundays but 11 the rest of the week. Yeah, cuz you might want to somebody might want I don't He has to be open. So he is open
52:13so I don't I don't have an issue whatever it may be.
52:16Perfect. I think that's great.
52:18Book something down there.
52:19Okay.
52:19Yeah.
52:19And so Sundays will be 9 to 9.
52:23Okay.
52:24And you're going to be there. You're the manager.
52:26Manager record.
52:27You're the manager.
52:28Yes.
52:28Okay. Through the through the police department, right? No issues.
52:31Okay. Um I I I go there all the time. I really do. I sit by myself back there and talk to the piano player. But I'm very serious. He has two piano players.
52:43Sad.
52:45No, listen. You out there.
52:47It's peace. It's peace.
52:48It is. It's very peaceful.
52:50That's why I go. But anyhow, um, anybody in favor of the petition, anybody opposed the petition, I'll entertain a motion. And again, I apologize cuz this motion is going to be subject to the building inspector and the police department giving final approval. They're waiting on a fire.
53:08Fire. I told what did I say? Police.
53:09Police, I'm sorry. Fire department. Build inspector and fire department cuz um Mr. Pellet is waiting on a part because it's some old uh electric I assume or what have you for the fire obviously for the fire alarm. So, it's not in yet. So this will be granted upon um him getting the pot and having it inspected by both those entities. Then it will be issued to him.
53:32Okay. I will make a motion to approve the new all alcohol common vixular license for MP hospitality company.
53:39Second questions on the motion. On hearing none. All those in favor? All those opposed. Good luck.
53:44Excellent. Thank you.
53:45Thank you Courtney. We'll be in touch when Glenn gets back next week.
53:48Thank you.
53:51Okay.
53:53Um, was there anything on this one? This This No, this is this one.
54:00No, this one.
54:01Okay. Uh, we're now going to move on to new beer and wine common Vulas. It's the Tatty restaurant, 1236 Pleasant Street.

54:16Could you please state your name and address for the record?
54:21on the um Lucia Hernandez uh 60 rice place and river.
54:30This is this is an ongoing restaurant.
54:33Yes, it's open now.
54:34Yeah. Um we're coming up on a year. Um this on July July 19th.
54:40July 19th. Yep.
54:41Okay. And 9 to 9. 9 to 9. So it's 9 to9 seven days a week.
54:50Yeah.
54:50Yeah.
54:51Okay.
54:52Um is that what you open now? 9 to9 too?
54:57Yeah.
54:57So that's not going to change.
54:59She wants to change it for like Friday and Saturdays to possibly open till 12, but I think that's like another process, right?
55:07Yeah, it's another process. So Okay. But uh beer and wine, an established restaurant. Who's the manager? Who's going to be there? Your mom.
55:14My mom and her husband.
55:15And her husband. Okay.
55:17And we don't have any problems. This has all been okay with the police. Positive.
55:20Oh, positive. Okay. Um, so nothing's going to change inside. Is there already some type of place where you're going to It's going to just be in coolers for beer and wine, right?
55:28Yeah. Yeah.
55:29Okay. All right. Um, anybody out there in favor of this petition? Anybody opposed? I'll entertain a motion. Any questions from the board?
55:39I'll make a motion to approve the new beer and wine common victer's license for the Tabby Restaurant, Inc.
55:45Second questions on the motion hearing none. All those in favor? All those opposed.
55:50Good luck. Okay. Thank you.
55:52Have a good day.
55:53Have a good day.
55:56Okay.
55:58Now it's number eight. Discussion regarding alleged license violations.
56:03Did it wrong.
56:04We have a uh new class 2 license.
56:10Sorry. Eight.
56:12Apologize for that.
56:14Uh, number eight is new class 2 license ax group corp 994 Jefferson Street Victor excuse me Jan Vtor Xavier Dalo.
56:30Okay, nice to meet you guys.
56:32Please state please state your name and address for the record.
56:35Um, so I got to say my my name and your address. Oh, 301 Milican Boulevard.
56:44Okay.
56:44Fall River, Massachusetts.
56:46And this is a new business right?
56:52Yes.
56:54I know where 994 Jefferson is, but I can't think of it. Where's Where's N Where's the address on Jefferson Street?
57:01Where is it located? Uh, it's, you know, close to the Walmart has a lake that they they drive with jet skis out there.
57:09Yeah.
57:10So, by the car school.
57:12Yes.
57:14Yeah. Close to the school.
57:15Down towards like Dave's beach when you hit that bend.
57:17A dirt road that leads to a bunch of Okay. Like mill. It's a mill building.
57:23Like there's a mill and there other like buildings as well.
57:25Yeah. Yeah. That's okay.
57:28It used to be Hydro Stop roofing. That's why I know that that address. Okay. You going and how many cars are you looking for?
57:36Six.
57:37Yeah. If you guys can give me more, I don't mind.
57:41This would be a satellite office according to Frank.
57:45You already had You already have one?
57:47Yes. Uh we supposed to to open uh this business on my father-in-law's house but uh we rented one and rent Frank he go there and check and say that was good was approved to do over there.
58:00Yeah it's owned okay over there. So he but you already have another one another business.
58:05Where's your other business?
58:08No they had originally applied for a different address last year.
58:13He was going to apply with that address for this month and then was a tax old so he came up he has a new address the Jefferson Street so what but he doesn't have an active bus too okay so he doesn't have a what's a satellite office mean online sales only Frank said there can't be any vehicles on the premises oh this is online but he's asking for vehicles on the premises application number of vehicles requested
58:41you got room for vehicles down there yes we do but we usually not going to use it because We are online sales, but if you guys approve it, we have the place to put cars.
58:51License, isn't it?
58:53It's two different things.
58:55That's what I'm saying.
58:57Yeah. So, what is he applying today for?
58:59Um, corn satellite. I'm not sat whole online sales.
59:03Applause to online sales.
59:05Yeah. Yeah. So, that's no cars, right?
59:08You got to come back and file for cars.
59:10I come back, no problem. But yeah, I don't We don't have a satellite off satellite like we don't have a satellite designation.
59:24No, this be remember remember the one we had that was going to be in the uh No, I I know that's why I asked the question cuz he's got this is different cuz he's got wholesale if you're ao if you're a wholesaler. We don't give him an amount of cars.
59:36No, no, I'm saying that's why we told him come back. He can he can ask for a car dealership if he wants. That's his business.
59:41I know. Yeah. But was he not granted permission to have vehicles on that lot?
59:46That's what Frank did say online sales.
59:50Mhm.
59:50Yeah. So, no cause.
59:52Why did he say that?
59:55He went to visit the site. Oh, was it this week?
59:59Yeah. Yeah. This week.
1:00:00And he just said he's okay with it, but no cars on the premises. It's online sales only.
1:00:06Oh, there you go.
1:00:08But but I don't think this is I don't think this is what the mechanism is.
1:00:14Don't we have a wholesale license designation that he has to apply for?
1:00:21So it would be a wholesale. I thought that's buying from like an auction.
1:00:25I don't think class two license. That's like an auto uh dealership.
1:00:30Yeah.
1:00:31Selling.
1:00:32Class two means he this young man could put six cars there and sell it.
1:00:38wholesale license application that we have in the open G portal. This is how it was always handled business in the past.
1:00:46Can I ask you can I try to explain you guys something? This was my father-in-law's company. He started to open the he did everything when I he start to be my father-in-law. He don't have the document because he's he don't have like a social like green card. He don't have nothing of that. So he put me on and then we discussed him and I say, "Oh, you stay with the company or I stay
1:01:11with the company." So I buy from him his part. So and then I rent the place. So and ask Frank to go over there and see if it was good to continue with with the process, you know. So I I did all the things like I I go to the Yeah. But again, I'm I'm not I you're you're good. It's not you, but like like we just had that one that
1:01:35got the got the got the um asked for a license to be in Jimmy Cameron's building on the corner of North Main and Beford Street where the guy decid that's not license to sell cars. I mean, excuse me, that's not zone and sell cars there, but he was only doing wholesale.
1:01:49So, I think he could do it in the office.
1:01:52He's saying six cars.
1:01:56it there was never a number of I don't think you request a number of cars with a wholesale business but also on the agenda it's a new class two license so I don't even think we can look at it that's I don't the way it is but but now this previously in the past always granted the class two license and then there was like a little note section and it would say wholesale or satellite
1:02:18but I think on the agenda it should have said that instead of class two a satellite no it should have said wholesale How did we This didn't come to be when we just did that other one for that gentleman. Do you know how that was advertised as a class two license?
1:02:36It was and it didn't say anything about wholesale.
1:02:39I thought it just in the application section. So if you where the description it says satellite in one place then it says wholesale in another place. So right here, premise description would say the wholesale online sales only. And then when you print the class 2 license, that would come out on the license.
1:03:02Okay. But I just And then below it says six cars.
1:03:05It says six cars prior to that.
1:03:08It's got He's not going to be limited to six cars wholesale.
1:03:11Zero.
1:03:12I I don't know. I'm not even going to lie. I just want to make sure we're doing things consistently for what we did with the other people because that doesn't seem to me to be the same. I And it may be. I'm not going to say I remember exactly what that other application, but I know that wholesale one I I don't we don't limit his number of cars in a wholesale license. They can sell a
1:03:32100 cars. We don't we don't get involved in that.
1:03:36But how much you guys say say is what I'm going to sell. I don't limit a wholesale you're going to have to pay rent and you're going to after you get to six cars, you're going to stop selling cars, but you're paying rent. Well, yeah, that's you can't do that. You don't want to do that. You'd be wasting money. Oh.
1:03:53Well, it seems like they went down there. He's looking for a wholesale to sell a thousand cars a day if he can, right? But like Frank went did Frank go down there and say, "Hey, you can put six cars there." Like Frank said, "No cars."
1:04:04No cars. So, how'd that six get on there?
1:04:07What I what I think happened is that's an industrial district. This is my thought.
1:04:12That's an industrial district. Frank went down there and says, "You're not properly zoned to sell used cars. you. So, you technically can't have a car here.
1:04:22Yeah. Yeah.
1:04:23But I guess you can have a they they allow to have a a wholesale license in an office.
1:04:28Yeah.
1:04:29I think I think that may have been what happened to this young man.
1:04:33Yes.
1:04:34So, can we approve anything today?
1:04:36If if if if Courtney is saying that we handle the past wholesale license as a class two, I I guess we could. I think the only difference is that this number of vehicles should say zero instead of the six. But other than that, it did say wholesale online sales only.
1:04:52Let's do that. Then can we change it to a zero?
1:04:55Yeah, we just But does he but he wants cars.
1:04:59He can't have cars. I don't think he's got to get proper zoning. I'm If he wants to go take table this and go cliff clarify that with Frank. If he wants to do that, I have no problem helping the kid out and he go back to Frank or or we'll call Frank or I'll call Frank or Courtney will go because I think if Frank said to him or said to Courtney,
1:05:19it's wholesale only, I am assuming, and this is a pure assumption that that's not zone for him to physically have cars there. And that's why Frank said you can't have cars there. Now, if he's trying to get cars there, and he can, and he might want to get clarification so he's not coming back and forth, you want to you want to tape when's our next meeting?
1:05:39July 15th.
1:05:41You want to table this for two weeks and try to I know you want to get going as soon as possible, but I I if you can have cars there, you want cars there.
1:05:51I I do want cars there, but Frank told you you can't have them.
1:05:55No, he said that I cannot have no cars on the lot.
1:05:59because of zoning.
1:06:00Online sales.
1:06:02Because of zoning.
1:06:04Did he say online? Because it's my my license is going to be for online sales.
1:06:09That's what he told me.
1:06:11I believe it's because of the zoning because Frank did come over and tell me as well. He said I went I checked out the new location. I'm okay with everything, but it's online sales only.
1:06:20There's going to be no cars. Can you guys approve to the online sales and I I be back over here without all the the what I you guys tell me what I need to sell the cars in there and I come with everything.
1:06:32I I I don't have a problem with it if that's if that's what you want. It's online sales only. There's no cars on the premises. We'll make a motion. I'll entertain a motion to say it's online sales only. No cars at the site at all.
1:06:47Yeah, that's good.
1:06:49So, oh yeah. So, this we don't have a recommendation from the police department. This was actually brought to my attention just before the meeting.
1:06:56So, a background check hasn't been done by the police department on this. So, if it's something that you guys decide you want to approve on the contingency of the approval of the recommendation from the police department.
1:07:06You hear that?
1:07:07You have not you have not been approved by the police yet?
1:07:10No. Oh.
1:07:11Cuz it cuz nothing wrong. You they just got it.
1:07:15Uh-huh. So, I'm going to tell you that I think I know you want to get started.
1:07:19Yes, I do.
1:07:20I I would wait till the 15th and try to see if we can get all this stuff resolved because you're probably not going to get your license. Next week's the 4th of July, so you're probably going to get into the next week after before you have everything. If I'm if I'm you, I would table this. Just my advice. I can't tell you what to do. let us do a little bit of background on this and maybe
1:07:41maybe we can straighten everything out relative to cars there as well.
1:07:45All right, I can call Frank and and if Frank says no, he can't have it because of zoning, he's not going to go for a variance, then we'll just entertain this as a straight wholesale license. Get the police approval and then you'll be fine.
1:07:57Thank you so much.
1:07:58Okay.
1:07:58Yeah.
1:07:59Can we have a motion to table this until our July what is it? 15th July 15th meeting, please. I'll make a motion to table the new class 2 license for AutoX Groupoup Corp to our July 15th meeting.
1:08:11You're not going to have a problem in terms of the wholesale, it appears.
1:08:15Yeah, it's just I was excited to get my license and I can start to apply to to the auctions, you know, like I know what to mean, but I think it's best for you rather.
1:08:26Just pay like $2,000 for the bond.
1:08:29I don't I don't I think it might be worth your while and just wait for that.
1:08:32Okay.
1:08:33Uhhuh. It's going to be better.
1:08:34All right. Um, questions on a motion on the table hearing then. All those in favor, all those opposed. Just double check with a few weeks. All right. Thank you.
1:08:41If you can have cuz if we can have cars there, I want him to get the cars there.
1:08:45If he can't have cars there, and it's all assuming he passes the police. If he can't have cars there, we'll entertain the the wholesale license and we'll clean up the application.
1:08:54Nothing.
1:08:55Thank you so much. Have a good day.
1:08:56Bye, Cordon. Have a go. I like your shirt.
1:08:59Thank you.
1:09:02Action. Get out of there.
1:09:03Now we got discussion regarding alleged license violations. We're tableing this too right?
1:09:10Yes.
1:09:11Because it funeral they have a funeral.
1:09:14Yeah, they can't make it. So I will entertain a a motion to table uh article 9 squeegee 2 Inc. DBA Sby restaurant so 915 County Street Addison Texera. I'll make a motion to table to our next meeting.
1:09:33Second.
1:09:35Okay. All those in favor?
1:09:37I.
1:09:37All those opposed. Okay. Now, we're going to go into we had a we had a complaint filed regarding the last meeting and they said that actual votes weren't taken. Um rather than I think we got a letter from from corporation council who turned around and said and turned what they said we should do is just revote it. That's why it's back on the agenda.
1:10:02What I'm going to recommend, Mike, is this. I'm I'm going to recommend cuz I wasn't here, so it has to be the same people.
1:10:08We're not going to rehear them all, obviously. I would just recommend that motions are made just a spirit of Santo Church, 311 Balden Street. Read the read what's there.
1:10:19Mhm.
1:10:20Do another motion either by yourself or Melanie. She's going to be the chair.
1:10:24So, by yourself, you second it and just have a verbal vote. We're not going to reach all of them and just go down the line. It's going to take a couple minutes. So, you got to read through all every single one.
1:10:34Yeah. Just do it individually so we have So, do I just acknowledge the one-day permits?
1:10:38Yeah. Just say one day permit. Goed one day permit. Spo Santo Church, 311 Alden Street, Andrew Reposa, 529605607.
