Good evening everyone. Uh, committee on real estate will come to order. Uh, call the role please.

Councelor Kadim here.

Vice President Pereira here.

So the first item we have uh before us this evening is citizen input. Is anyone signed up? Moving on to item two. We have the minutes from July 21st, 2025.

Motion has been made in second to approve the minutes. All in favor? All opposed? So voted.

And number three, uh the mayor and solicitation of proposals for requests for proposals for the sale of the former Deval school property located at 112 Pleasant Street, Fall River. So we all know the history here with this property. Uh we have one bidder. So um first of all uh I think we should stay with the same criteria or format that we uh we performed when we disposed of the

uh property now with uh Anthony Cado. Um so um Linda, do you have something to say?

Yeah, it's 112 Flint Street. No, it I'm sorry. 110 112 Flint. Yep. It's for the record. Thank you. My fault. So, um, as I said, we'll we'll stay with that same procedure. Um, and, um, I'll formally ask at the public meeting if Council Gadim would like to serve, um, as an individual to evaluate the, uh, the proposal.

Yes. I will serve as chairman. Um, and we do have also uh, Mr. um, um, Mancini um, that is going to be serving as well.

And we also have uh community uh CDA director Michael Dion who has a great deal of experience in these matters to to serve as well. So today um the meeting um is just to make that announcement uh deliver the um the comparative evaluation matrix and um get that completed as soon as we can and um and that we'll we'll I'll suggest that we table this matter. Um, the criteria will be completed. It'll come back to

this committee for a a full vote and it'll go back to the council with a recommendation in in terms of whether we approve this long proposal or not. Um, so I'll have a motion right now to uh to table this matter. With that said, would that be appropriate?

Kevin just would have first comments first.

Just want to ask a question before we table. Uh, Mr. Mancini shared a desire to want to look at the building. Is it am I in the mic? Uh that he would like to look at the building. Will there be something done to allow people to go into the building and look at Yeah, I'm I'm sure that won't be too difficult to arrange that through our um the appropriate department in the city

and and I think that's why there's a good idea to um uh to you know appoint the evaluating committee have the matrix evaluated table it here uh to give opportunities such as that the holidays are short days away. Um we have one meeting left this year. Um there'll be a new council coming on in January. So at least this gets the uh the process started council of prayer and um hopefully um shortly after the new
