all pursuant to the open meeting law any person may make an audio or video recording of this public meeting or may transmit the meeting through any medium attendees are therefore advised that such recordings or Transmissions are being made whether perceived or unperceived by those present and are deemed acknowledged and permissible uh we have no citizens input tonight but we do have a request for

executive session um do we want to read the request first or make a motion I'll read the request first Mr Assad yes there are no uh open meeting items in on today's agenda mayor the executive session would start with M general laws chapter 38 we have to make a motion ahead of time he said no he said he could read them first question I'll make a motion to go into executive session okay second can a second

question M Mr related to the uh executive session so between the the last meeting and this meeting I actually found out on social media that we had a tentative agreement with the teachers union and I don't recall ever I don't recall ever seeing or voting on a tenative agreement so I'd like to just get some clarity before we go into any of these items to know whether we do have a tenative agreement

which I don't believe we have voted on so that we know what the parameters are going into executive session can attorney Assad please indicate any answer to that question there are no tenative agreements with any of the unions that we're going into executive session on today uh this is this is a uh situation where the committee has OPP an opportunity to review uh what the terms and conditions are uh the format on the

tenative agreement scenario is that we would review the information uh if it is acceptable we would relay that information to the uh Union the union would then have a right to go for a ratification vote and once they have a ratification vote and if it's successful it comes back to the committee and the committee at that point in t time would take a vote as to whether or not there is an agreement so we can change

whatever this is our first shot as a body of looking at this so as the final yes at the final agreement of is yes and I I just think it I felt like the cut was a little bit before the horse reading from them from the teachers union itself I mean we got a lot of uh information from the teachers union social media post rather than from this body which does bother me but uh I do

appreciate you highlighting the fact that we can make changes it's not that we're stuck with whatever happen at the last negotiation this is the full School committee's chance to weigh in is that accurate that's correct thank you sir Mr Das yes and just um just just a your's point just to get a clarification I believe we received an email from the T superintendent that said we were in a

pre- tenative agreement is there a difference between the two attorney Assad well actually the reason why you had a pre tenative agreement that was my language because I wanted the committee to be aware of the fact that it was not a tenative agreement and that this was a situation that you would be reviewing it prior to the process initiating for a tenative agreement by both sides thank you a Mr

laws chapter 38 section 2183 to discuss strategy with collector Bing relative to all cafeteria employees of the forward school system represented by the American Federation of state county and Municipal Employees Council 93 local 1118 as a chair has determined an open session may have a detrimental impact on AB bogy position of the committee Mass general laws chapter 3A section 21 A3 to

discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining relative to all maintenance employees of the forward school system represented by the American Federation of state county and Municipal Employees Council 93 local 1118 as a chair has determined that open concession may have a detrimental impact on a bing position of the committee Mass general laws chapter 38 section 2183 to discuss strategy with respect to

collective bargaining relative to all custodial employees of the forward school system represented by the American Federation of state county and Municipal Employees Council 93 local 1118 as the chair has determined an open session may have a detrimental impact on the bogy position of the committee Mass general laws chapter 3A section 2183 to discuss strategy with respect to Collective bney relative to all safety
