so looking at the photo of your residence you have what appears to be a garage at the end of the driveway right yeah that driveway is not long enough to support your vehicles it's normal I understand it's narrow but you could put essentially but I am my mother's caregiver she's going to be young and she still lives alone and I am in and out so if I am in front of the back of the

driveway and he's behind me I can't get out and we work different hours so it's going to take your vehicle to work sir I'm across the ground okay so I understand the opposing hours were that would mean the only one vehicle is ever present at whatever time during work hours to be available 24 hours and I can appreciate that so I'll just explain to you real quick basically um what constitutes

the life of a better word and automatic disqualifier for handicap space okay a couple of things we look for to request the license an active handicap placard I registered vehicle whether or not they're a homeowner with off-street Park okay if any of those aren't satisfied it's just the policy of the board that it's going to be declined because there's so many different variables uh Case by case didn't grant for one

because of this issue it would have to print for all so as much as I understand your your position okay you guys do have off street parking and it does appear to be as narrow as it is you can still put two cars in there I understand what you're saying that if your car was in first and as it's behind and you had to leave unfortunately you do have the means on

uh frustrating as may be he would have to step outside pull his car out so you can leave and then Breathe hard you know what I'm saying you guys have the means for a party so to put a space on the public way when you do have that means it just doesn't satisfy the criteria does that make sense it's just like I said it's a black and white criteria that we go by

it's nothing that we're making new rules for any any questions or comments regarding that yeah okay so it's based on the information the client space motion to the client uh unfortunately I would have to second that is it is inconvenient but it is the policy of this board thank you

he has he's on oxygen IE both the time they had to is in the hospital so he couldn't come and he's just home now and was not able to to come in yet are you Serena no I'm I'm his life partner Sabrina is the stepdaughter oh she lives with the address yeah

does he have a vehicle not right now but she's been the one taking him everywhere uh he does have his driver's license then Ken once he's able to do his physical therapy I'll be able to drive but walking is a whole different issue is he incapable of driving now you said right now he's going through physical therapy right now because he's just been put on oxygen he's not um they're still trying to teach him how to

use the oxygen okay um she takes him to his doctor's appointments and all that and she resides there yeah hmm and the landlord said he had no issue with it he said it's up to you guys and there's no off street parking barely there and him went outside well does he have a vehicle no he does not have a vehicle right now no okay so he doesn't have a vehicle right now no does

he ever use his daughter's vehicle too yes he will take care of it he will operate that vehicle yeah he will operate the vehicle he just was he had a bad case of pneumonia and he's been in and out of the hospital the last months so there was nothing much and there's no restriction on his license right now it's not Dallas yeah

he was I wasn't sure if he needed anything when he fill out that paperwork I wasn't sure if he needed something from the doctor or no no oh okay yeah so let's discuss this one currently licensed he's not driving and she said right now you can go ahead and get a card and point there is no restriction on his license you could essentially take that well if you think about it it's going to

take about 12 weeks before they even see the space so it could be that everything else is in order so now the daughter does live there necessarily understand yeah I agree take a motion to accept this one I make a motion to accept any opposed seeing none also that's it yep in about 12 weeks okay obviously if anything changes this weather has really been playing a number right people

thank you very much absolutely have a good day all right miscellaneous requests request from the student at Argosy Collegiate School about safety concerns for students at the intersection at dwelly and Vail that is our little letter of things she had gone around the city and actually we live on the corner of dwelling Vale and that was first concern but she actually had written a list of

concerns around the entire city so I don't know if I can present that absolutely come on down he wants to be she will be here the September one but she's out of state in Canada right now with family but all right so this is the her exact words um all right she said Fall River is a wonderful place there are many things to do and it's a lovely Community but there

are many problems that can easily be fixed I focused on road safety because as a kid oh because a kid I babysat got hit trying to cross the road to say hi to a friend right at the corner of dwelling Vale um I realized that you could put a few signs and it would do wonders a lot of them we took pictures are very small they said they could go up to the 14 by

14 I believe um she said I am worried about crosswalks and the slow children signs being too small potholes are really really bad I know someone who sprained their ankle in a pothole trying to cross under traffic lights so in the crosswalk Under The Lights there are traffic lights letting people turn when you're trying to cross especially the Peckham Street I want to say how come or below one of those two

you hit the button it does not say yield to pedestrians and you can she was um waiting to cross with her bike and she told me she almost died by a car was either one of those because she comes down from Hamlet Street um the light is green for them it is a solid green like no arrow and it says it's got the walk person for them to cross here I believe it's by La Cava it

might be uh Federated now it's either there or up on it's at one of the lights I believe it is Globe Street not positive and there's one also right here at the bottom of Rock Street that does the same that it doesn't um anyway I'll have to find that one out sorry let's go on um she has a bunch uh she said that was she was actually getting uh almost got

hit by a bus she said on that one um we also need to check signs near plants she went to Henry Lord to go get her sister and you cannot see some of the signage there I'm not sure if it's stop signs but she said oh she said stop sign and there's some other signage that can't be seen because of overgrowth also people speed through crosswalks we know that um

you could put some signs next to some crosswalks or over them and she said next to the Seven Hills she said she didn't notice if there were slow children signs except for above you know um but a lot of it has to do with the um the signage and for pedestrians because she's had a lot of issues with her walking and taking her bike and taking her siblings so that has been this is

kind of rushed she didn't know but this is most of the basic concern she has a whole placard she made at home and everything for school about it but I don't have access to everything so um I would say that those are her biggest concerns is just kind of where mostly the crosswalk uh you know walking things she's had a few some of them may have been fixed since I it's been three years since I've walked

regularly yeah so but they do ride from the south end Laurel Lake School area all the way to the library and she goes abroad all the way and so if there's any more concerns you she could come you know but you said she intends on coming to September yes because we didn't know I actually got a letter last week and she's like but I'm not coming back until August

like oh what do I do so I called and she said that there's one in September but this one she was invited to so this one to just come and she wrote this up last night for the most part because everything else is God knows where well she has a list of concerns and we can actually go through because there were some I had taken like a video going down dwelling I was actually walking and I

was by the gas station got as far as Municipal Credit Union the old one and you still could not see that little sign that says slow children and then coming by the Armory as well coming towards um Laurel Street on dwelling the sign again by the Armory is very very small it's those old traditional like and they're not the bright yellow they are that like School Bus chrome color you know what I

mean so it's just a lot of that like I said we'll have a little bit more prepared next time if there's anything but this is just her general gist from what she can remember let's address what we can address right now um as far as the regulated there's there's 12 by 18 and then there's 24 by 24 but they're mostly all like 12 by 18 and it'll say slow children we usually have those around playgrounds

rectangular yeah they're 12 by 18. yeah you put them up on the utility pole it does look small yeah and then there's the overgrowth of a lot of trees too is what she's saying because a lot of times you can't see I mean that's busy people go crazy there anyway yeah no that's absolutely something that needs to be addressed by the city with crosswalks for a little while because it took a little time they

September 9th of last of 2021 it took until November of last year to fix because you guys had a lot going on but there were seven crosswalks missing between the gas station and Montauk right you mean I'm sorry the paints on them yeah there was there was like they would cross the main road but they didn't cross the side streets or the other way around they would cross the

side but not Veil so I was like it confused they missed seven of them they just did the main ones and then they went back and did them but there were seven of them missing at the time so you know what happened with that was they did construction to all those roads so they did the uh Milling they don't do the striping because it's already almost winter right so what the gas company did

was when it was spring they went and they did all of those because I got a lot of calls on Veil so they're all done now yeah no I didn't know that's what I was saying but that was the only thing we had last time we didn't know about this because instead of just calling and bothering they're like is it dwelling balancing yeah again but anyway I just you know to address the uh slow children

or children playing signs uh we'll have to take a look at the ones you're talking about if they are actual valid approved City signage okay that that's what they're they don't I mean we're not going to just be able to replace ones if it's if it's an out of date by any means or not Services because of the fact her being hit there two things I do want to um fire on

is is talking about the overgrowth did you have a specific intersection that we can address slow down she had she rides her bike down um Laurel Street towards Henry Lord and stuff and you know there's by The Duel in apartments especially there's a lot but I'm not exactly sure because she had done this I believe for school back in April or something and stuff was just starting or whenever stuff had just started or

so I'm gonna I'll have to find out from her exactly but I'll definitely look through like I said I'll be prepared for next month so even if you're just aware now and then I sit there whatever you can address fine and come back with those intersections that you were saying where it'll say walk but it'll still give a dream that's that's I have to ask her if it was Peckham Street or Globe

street because she rides her bike down Hamlet uh from Hamlet rather down Plymouth Ave towards the going south and I can't remember if it's Globe Street or if it's Peckham Street when she hit the button it still had for her to go and the other car I believe it's Globe I'm almost pretty sure we took our bikes down there but I'm not 100 and it's on the the South Main Street side not the other

side of globe so what you can deal with if you if you mind yeah if you can get a hold of her and get these exact locations we can stop working on it absolutely um especially like where the small the signs are smaller I mean it doesn't have to be exact but at least the street and then I can send my guys and then when she comes to the meeting in September if

she could have like well okay yeah if she could have the locations it's so much better absolutely like I said this was last minute I was like what do I do yeah no she can do all I talked to presentation so um we'll reinvite again we'll set out another letter for it coming September okay all right thank you so much thank you you have a great night okay um Branch one way from Second Street to

John Street all residents have been notified this is a change that absolutely should meet forward on this what happened was um the man brought it to my attention because um he went there for a meeting at Quaker row and I guess a lot of the residents brought to his attention I went down there and I drove and there was a section of branch that I literally and I have a very small car I literally had to

go so definitely yeah and then parking will still stay the same but it I mean I suggested it from second to John because John is a one-way so if you have it the other way um it's just gonna people have to come down John to go into second whereas I mean to France whereas if you're on second you can do both ways and then the other streets you can get in and out so

um what we'll do now if it is approved here um it'll go into ordinance and then if there's any issues people are invited to come to the ordinance meeting if they have any issues promotional acceptance my second any opposed none go ahead and pass that on lastly we have our scented handicap spot the only one would be Barnaby Street I make a motion that we send a second okay that is the agenda sir

yesterday from Easton Avenue yeah thank you sir it's probably fun I'm here for the next meeting earlier all right so this is why'd you come on up so that way we can County Street and Eastern Ave business all right so the signs are no longer standing yeah we removed them on Monday wasn't it Monday or Tuesday as an alternative would the business be amenable to if we provide the signs the time posted signs

um posting them on the building base this way you're still getting the ability to say it's 10 15 minute parking whatever it is but it's not taking up any of that curb cut Frontage gotcha yeah because I believe I was it you that I spoke yeah because you had explained to me that it was an issue because there was a driveway right next to the actual business front so yeah I

mean whatever you guys think is we can't force you to put it on your bill but if the building if the owner is admittable to them we can give you the signs you can tack them on the face of the building on the front and on either side um this way as guys um uh Pages pull up they're still notified gotcha is it anyway we could put one uh I have

pictures if you need to see them you know that poll uh because there was one at the end of the business which was the issue because there's a driveway right next to it but there's one in the beginning on like a lecture yes utility pole yeah is there any way we could leave one up there this one back here no so the utility pole is right here so there's one here that's all right and

then there's one here um so we can leave up that one and that way people pull up they can see it as well and then we just won't have this one here because the problem was you have the cut goes all this way well this current cup here is for this driveway and people were parking here and here and blocking his truck yeah so we can leave one on that utility pole

okay at the end of the building and we can provide one to you if you would like to uh attach it to the front of the building I'm sure that it's duly noticed awesome yeah that'd be great I'm just going to order another two of them so you can get enough for the building and then we'll put the one back on the utility okay thank you everyone good with that yeah it's all right
