Uh we're going to call the for licensing board uh meeting for Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 to order. Uh to my right is member Michael Pereira and I am attorney Gregory Branch, chairman of the board.

First and foremost, I have to advise everybody that you draw, right?

Because we are only going to have a two member board tonight. You have to have a unanimous decision for approval. So anybody who wants to have the right to withdraw and have your matter heard at the next available meeting, we will allow that uh to happen. Um does anybody want to do that? that's here so I can get you out here early.

Okay. Um, pursuant to the open meeting law, any person may make an audio or video recording of this public meeting or may transmit the meet the meeting to any media. Attendee attendees are therefore advised that such recordings or transmissions are being made whether perceived or unpersceived by those present and are deemed acknowledged and permissible.

The city charter section 9-18 mandates that all multiple member bodies develop and adopt rules or policy for public comment. We have adopted such a policy which in short provides for citizens input and license board specific matters at the beginning of the meeting. There is a signup sheet that is located in the back of the room. We don't have any.

Tasher has been in touch with a lot of the staff uh that worked at Ogills and um most of them are being brought on board for this restaurant as well. So it's going to be the same cooks, the same bar staff, same weight staff.

Mix, do you have any what's what's your familiarity with the restaurant business either through council or yourself? Uh so uh just English communications. So um he's had uh more than a decade of restaurant experience. His father operated a family-owned restaurant in Cape Fed for about 40 years. Came to America uh and ad operated the restaurant there with his mom for about 10 years before coming to America. Uh

he's been working in construction stra uh trades specifically for the purpose of saving up to open up a restaurant.

So for the most part, you're just changing over the offices and directors of the LLC as well as naming him manager. Correct.

They've teamed up with Phen Coney Island and they're doing Coney Island hot dog eating contest tomorrow night on Purchase Street and among other festivities. So they've asked us to go into a ropedoff beer garden area instead

of just being a participant in the sales part of the farmers market. So they're turning it into a bigger kind of celebration like midsummer uh event um to be enter you know like a DJ. It's going to be a good it's going to be a good event for the city. So it'll be cool. I I went by and I and I noticed that I saw the the the where the

planters are and you know the area and and I guess you can put people in there.

Is there what you're gonna have police detail to make sure they don't get out of there?

Yeah. Yeah, we already scheduled it just in case. So, police details all set.
