City Charter Section 9-18 mandates that all multiple member bodies develop and adopt rules or policy for public comment. We have adopted such policy which in short provides a citizens input and license board specific matters at the beginning of each meeting. So obviously he's got the experience in the industry.

A um we received a letter. It's open meeting law complaint by Mr. Patrick Higgins. We received a letter um basically this is it when we when we advertised it. We did not advertise the specific days they wanted and then they came in and asked for additional days.

That technically is in violation. Um I don't think we have to refer this to to um I don't think we have to refer this to the sixth floor. I'll get I'll get the letter together and we can just send it out to both Mr. Higgins and we should be fine. I've already had a conversation with Mr. Higgins about it, so we'll take it from there. Um, that's all. We just

had to discuss it. Um, B, schedule a show cause hearing. As I previously stated, um, we've gotten some complaints and requests for show cause hearings from the Force Department uh, on two two establishments. Um, one is the Ice Ice Out Pub, 16 East Main Street, Crystal D Roa, and the other is at Lennard's Package Store, 1325 Pleasant Street, Turan, um, Bolindas PEL. Um, so what we're going to do is we're going to

obviously accept those those requests from the police department because we have to support, you know, uh, public safety here and and they feel very strongly that these should be brought before the board and they will make full presentations. We're likely going to have that um on December 23rd tenatively. Um but uh it will be we will put a uh the uh proper posting uh for that meeting. And um I just want to say

that uh what's what we just have to have some zero tolerance with these type of things now. It's it's it's really it's really becoming a public safety issue that we really do have to address. So but we will give these people the opportunity to be here and speak for themselves in terms of what has transpired. But there will be show cause hearings on both those establishments tentatively

scheduled for December 23rd. And at that time we will also address whether we're going to renew their licenses or not based on what um the presentations at.

Um anything else is St. Michael school on your agenda for today?

We did St. Michael's last month I thought for the wine tasting 2026.
