Our update from our executive director.

5:06

Thank you, Chairman Long. Good afternoon, everyone. Welcome to um August's board meeting. A few things.

5:16

Uh under human resources, we hired a third shift maintenance mechanic um to fill a vacancy. Uh one of those positions moved to uh our CCTV technician which left the void. So we recently filled um that slot.

5:37

uh under management. We uh had our Inspire inspections at Father Defario Village last week. It ran uh a full day Monday, a half a day Tuesday. Um we're still waiting on the scores. They haven't been uh posted yet. Um although we have um a strong feeling we did much better than last year when it was a quality assurance inspector. Uh Ed and his team did a tremendous job going through each building, each apartment,

6:12

each basement, all the common areas. So we're just waiting on that. Uh hopefully I will have that for you uh at the next month's meeting. But uh we're very very optimistic that uh it's a much improved score.

6:28

Under resident services um the annual cookouts um and movie nights uh are winding down. Uh we do have a movie night tonight at Maple Gardens. I believe uh tomorrow is Catel's cookout.

6:45

Um but that's we're wrapping up this week. Um, so a big a big thanks and acknowledgement to Joey Dilva and his uh partner Kelsey Camarra and their team of kids. Once again, a very successful summer uh for the enjoyment of all our residents.

7:05

Um, a heartfelt thanks and acknowledgement to um, Rita Labau, our mixed population coordinator, Melissa Souza, our THP coordinator, Todd Cabraw, site manager uh, at Catel, M Silva, maintenance leader at Catel, and the, um, resident president, Bob Balo, at Catel. They did an unbelievable job um of assisting the fire victims. We took in a couple of uh of the residents from the Gabriel House

7:42

um and they were right there with all the um coordination of the moves um getting uh coordinating furniture delivery.

7:53

Um also uh Eminem movers David Melo donated some furniture.

8:01

um along with Jim and Julie from my brother's keeper and also the firefighters association, the wives, they made a donation uh to some of our residents. So, just a big thank you and acknowledgement for the yman's work that they did, hit the ground running. We turned everything around as fast as we could. So, I did uh I did want to acknowledge them for their efforts.

8:29

Uh the last thing I have is our employee appreciation cookout last week went very well up at Oak Village. Uh Commissioner Underh Hill was there. Um again um a very good turnout. Uh a good menu. We had lawn games uh followed by an early release. Um so once again, thanks to the board for that.

8:55

uh and Joey and uh Kelsey and the kids again for doing a great job. So, another successful year of that. And that is all I have. Thank you.
