4:20Update from the executive director.
4:23Thank you, Chairman Long. Good evening, everyone. Just a few things. Uh we have a retirement uh coming up next month.
4:32Our um work order uh data clerk and um that person works under facilities and has some interaction with management as it pertains to um generating work orders, emergency work orders um and the UN spiral inspections. So, um, on that retirement, um, with input from other department heads, I'm going to be looking to revamp that job description and the salary schedule, um, discuss it
5:05with the union and then, um, post it um, upon the retirement. Um, but there'll be some uh, duties added into it to benefit not only the facilities department, but the management department. how um those work orders get generated, what the responsibilities are uh so the two departments can operate together more efficiently.
5:34The other thing I have uh the Christmas parties are ongoing at our elderly sites. They started on um Friday the 5th. They'll run all this week and all next week. um Joey and his crew uh are conducting those. So those are going well. Uh we have a scheduled endspire inspection um December the 16th uh at Pleasant View. Uh that's scheduled for two days next week. U the facilities department has been preparing
6:09um for that. So uh we anticipate that we will do well. Uh and once that's completed and we get the scores, I will inform the board as I uh normally do. Um one last thing under finance, um CBIS, our accounting uh auditors are working, I think I've mentioned before in the past, um our audit is due to HUD uh December 31st. So, they're narrowing that down and um we'll be submitting
6:42that in the next couple of weeks once it's once it's completed.

8:55Contract awards for site improvement tree removal at Maple Gardens, EOHLC number 095203, Elma Corbett Streets, Elmer and Corbert Streets, EOLC number 095205 and Oakrove Avenue and Bulock Street, EOH number 095207.
9:17Two bids were received and opened on December 3rd. Project scope of work includes tree removal, tree trimming area, cleanup and repair, replacement of existing damaged fencing, concrete walkways and patio areas. Uh contract award to the lowest bidder.
9:36We got 18,000 for the Maple Gardens, 18,480 for Maple Gardens, Elmer and Corbin Street with $36,750.
9:46And Bullet and Oakrove Avenue with $47,795.
9:52You can approve them all together or if you want to break them out, we can break them.
9:58I'll make a motion to award contracts for site improvements to the low bidder regal tree and shrub shrub experts LLC for Maple Gardens in the amount of 18,480 to award the contract to the low bidder Regal Tree and Shrub Experts LLC for Elmer Corbett Streets in the amount of 36,750.
10:25and to award the contract to the low bidder Gil Den Inc. for Oakrove Avenue Bulock Street in the amount of $47,795 contingent upon final approval by EOHLC.
